Don’t love the world’s ways. Don’t love the world’s goods. Love of the world squeezes out love for the Father. Practically everything that goes on in the world—wanting your own way, wanting everything for yourself, wanting to appear important—has nothing to do with the Father. It just isolates you from him. The world and all its wanting, wanting, wanting is on the way out—but whoever does what God wants is set for eternity.

On the same line as the previous post now we say: Don't follow the world's ways!
Please don't.
'Let this people turn to you, but you must not turn to them.'
Jer 15.19Everything that goes on in the world has nothing to do with the father. It will just squeeze out your love for him. It will isolate you from him.
It will take up your time, your mind, your life and then you'll have nothing left for God.
And God shouldn't get leftovers.
The world is always wanting, wanting, wanting. It never ceases. You always need something else. Something you don't have. Even if your wardrobe is bigger than your actual room you'll find something that's missing.
But those whose eyes are set on God are whole. There's nothing else you might need. You are set for eternity. Ready.
