How long has it been since the last time were in God's presence?
Sometimes we spent our days away working, studying, tending the house and then we are too tired to spend time on God's presence. We focus our attention in this world and forget we aren't from this world.
You can work 24/7 and still that won't make up for the time you've lost with God. Nothing in this world is worth more than him, than being in his presence day in and day out.
Why?
Because our souls yearn for him. Our souls are eternal and yearn for the eternal. There's nothing temporal that will satisfy them.
God’s presence, now within reach ---thanks to Jesus sacrifice on the cross--- is what makes us whole. And our souls rejoy in his presence.
Let us say like the prophet:
"...God...Before whom I take my stand"
a/n: I challenge you today to enter God's presence, take hold of that gift, make use of it. We are blessed to have the privilege of entering his presence and stand before him, don't take it for granted.
Take time to pray and seek God before going to bed at night. Start making the habit of seeking him and soon enough you'll see how your life changes because your focus does. You'll start seeing things from God's perspective and also your heart will sing with joy that reflects on your face.
(It really does. It's incredible how being in the presence of God can change a face. It lights it up completely.) Did you ever notice that?
