choking on the ordinary,
suffocated by grey and white,
I walked towards the sun.the room glowed orange with
the stripe of a single sunbeam, and
her name was yours.your eyes shone with amber as
you warmed my soul,
lighting up my life with a
soft candle's glow.and for an instant,
with you,
I was safe.
