swirling, skipping, beneath the stars,
I shudder as my soul glows warmly.illuminated, a dancing beacon,
I hum to the tune of the ocean waves.freckles with stardust, iridescent as the moon,
I turn to the sky and whisper my thanks.steadily intertwined amid the sand,
I smile as the earth answers my call.I am a comet,
and my coat of blessings a fiery tail.
I am immobile,
though I walk by with ocean.
I am minuscule,
though I loom as large as the stars.I have but four friends,
and they lift me
closer to their image each day.blazing, they set me free,
purifying, they wash away my doubts,
steadfast, they reassure me,
and expansive, they give me wonder.I am only a ghost, flickering and fleeting,
yet I always have been
and shall always remain
one with the flame,
the tides,
the earth,
and the storm.
