Marmeladov in a New Light
By: JkGsonny

I am but a blimp

Against the crowds.

The simple wimp

Whose mind floated to the clouds.

Those who share a drink

With me,

Must be on the same link

As me.

For God shall forgive

Those who endure the suffering,

So that others may live,

Constantly rustling.

Tears & Tribulation are all I seek

At the bottom of this glass,

I have no use for technique.

This part of me will never pass.

I am the man who lead

His own daughter to her disgraceful profession.

I am the man who died on his bed

Drenched with oppression.

Unworthy of life,

I was removed by God,

And forced to leave my wife.

I left this world a poor sod.

Having caused nothing but

Ruin & pain,

I decided it was time to cut
The chain.

And as I went away,

I only saw my blood,

Since on my way,

I was reminded of the flood.

The carriage crushes my bones

And it did it all alone.

IT struck me in certain zones

Which made me make horrendous moans.

And at that moment,

Blood and I became one.

Now we were noticed,

But only since we were done.

I accept that I am a mockery,

Yet I will never deny

I am not scholarly.

And with that, I say my final goodbye.
