Chapter 14

"What happened Rose?" I ask her very seriously. Now I remember Emily messaged me saying she saw her leave with Skye.

"I punched this dude who was trying to get with me." She said while putting back the frozen peas back into the fridge.

"He said we were gonna go get some more beer for the party and wanted me to go with him." She said looking down at her hand that was very bruised.

Trust me she had a hard punching hand. We used to do together boxing every other week on Saturdays but after her parents died in a car accident, She became distant and went to live with our grandma but grandma calls me to talk. She took her anger and sadness into boxing so she's really good.

"We went out the house and when I got into his car he tried to have sex with me but I punched him in the nose and jaw and maybe around his eye. I ran out the car and just went walking home." She said looking upset and with tears in her eyes.

"Why didn't you call me? I feel so terrible to leave you like that." I feel bad that I wasn't there for her. I wish that I had punched skye as well.

"You seemed to have a good time and I had texted you already that I didn't need a ride."

"I'm so sorry for not taking care of you." I whispered to her while giving her a hug.

"It's fine but Can I have the aspirin?"she asked with dried tears falling and a smile to replace the sadness.

I turn around to grab the bag with the aspirin and the tampons. I give her the whole bag while taking my chocolate bar that I bought at the store. I went to my room to go Netflix.

*Ding dong*

"I'll get it" screamed Rose.

I woke up with the tv still playing. I look outside, its not dark but it's not sunny either. I grab my phone and see the time 6:43. Did I really go to sleep. Wait who's at the door? I got up from my bed to go down stairs.

"Mom! Grandma! You're back" I said going down the stairs to hug them.

"Yes honey we're back and we brought some dinner to make." Mom said as I hugged her.

"Sure Mom" I said back

"Grandma I hope mom didn't bored you on the trip" I said laughing which I received a glare from my mom. Haha.

"She was fine but Seattle was great! We should all go together." Said grandma with a huge smile on her face.

"Ok grandma." I smiled back at her.

After we all helped and ate dinner we all settled down and went to sleep. Tomorrow is Rose's first day at school she's kind of anxious and nervous. I'm obviously not exactly happy for school tomorrow.

*Beep! Beep!*

I got up and grabbed some light blue jeans with a loose white sweatshirt with the number 8 on it. I went to the bathroom and took a quick shower. I got out and got dressed. Mom and grandma were still asleep so it was just me and Rose.

"Ready?" I said as I locked the door.

"Yeah" she's said back to me as we got in the car.

As I got out the car I could see that Rose was a little nervous. She kept fixing her outfit every second.

"Hey it's going to be okay" I said to reassure her and not make her worried. She nodded back in response to me.

We walked towards the doors and went to straight to the main office.

"Hi lady how can I help you?" Says the lady smiling who seems about the age of 35 and is really nice.

"Hi! My cousin here is new today and needs her schedule" I answer back with the same loving smile she gave me.

"Ok darling what's your name?" She asks looking at Rose.

"Rose Kilper." She says towards the lady.

"Ok here you go." she says as she turns around and gives the schedule to Rose. We both thank her and leave the office.

Turns out we have literature and social studies together. So since literature is our first class we head to class.

As we walked down the hall we could here everyone whisper and give us weird looks.
'Thats her' 'How did she do it' 'I hate her for it'
'That can't be the new girl'
We kept hearing everyone say that until I heard Stacy say "ugh Why the hell did she do this to my baby Skye!"

How is everyone saying this things?
That's when Rose and I saw Skye walk towards Stacy with a huge Black eye.

Once class started everyone most of the people kept saying that she had done a good job kicking skye's ass. I think it started to go to head a little afterwards.

I'm sorry that I didn't post last weekend I was really busy with a test I had to study for since I already had a bad grade in that class lol oops.
