Chapter 16

*Ace's Pov*

"Talk now!" I yelled towards the man. He just looked straight at me. I punched his face again for the 5th time, blood all over my hand.

"You think I'm going to tell you." He said with a smile.

"Knock him out son." Said my dad from behind me. I can't keep doing this no more it's been about 3 years. I never liked my "Father" but ever since my brother Mike died he's had me filled his spot.

"Yes sir" I said. I punched his face around his jaw and he was knocked out.

"Son come here." My "Father" said signaling with his hand to go over where he was.

"Father ca-" He punched my face around my eye I felt blood coming from around my forehead.

"Next time you don't make him talk I will kill you just like your brother. Now get out of here." He said bluntly. I still can't believe he killed Mike. Its been 3 years I sigh heavily and left the warehouse that's in the middle of no where. I get in my car look over to the seat and instantly think of Alexis if only I wasn't in the mess.

•Alexis Pov•

It's currently the next morning. Emily went back home after she called her mom. My mom insisted on me and Rose to go shopping because I need some new Vans. The ones I have now are ripping from the bottom. I've have them for about 2 years now I think. She wanted us to get out the house because she says we're really lazy on breaks.

"Any plans for this week?" I ask to Rose as we're getting in my car.

"Um yeah I'm hanging out with Alan tomorrow. The rest of the week well I don't know. You?" She asks back

"I'm not really sure." I say back as I'm stopping at a red light.

"Come on I share a room with you. I heard you talking with some guy last night." Wait what!?!
She heard us?

"What exactly did-" she didn't even let me finish my question.

"I heard you talking to a guy. Which by the way his voice sounded so hot but I know he's yours so don't worry." She says as she gets out the car since we have arrived at the mall.

"He's not mine Rose. We haven't even talked in two weeks that was the first time we talked after two weeks." I said that part kind of upsetting. I am still worried about who did that to him.

I walk in towards the Vans store and see these beautiful Black vans with Roses on them. Yes I know a lot of girls love them and have them but there just beautiful. There $95 I only have about $40. Yeah I'm not buying those I guess next time I'll save up. I grab some nice holographic vans that looked good too.

"Alex Im hungry. Let's go eat please." Rose says as I'm done paying at the register for my vans.

"Fine okay. What do you want to eat?" I ask her while going up the Marble stairs.

"Panda Express! Come I haven't eaten it in like two months." Said rose while putting a pouty face for me to say yes.

"Fine let's go." I say as I grab my phone from my pocket.

Mom: Come back home at 2:30

Me: Ok Mom

Ace: Hey.

Me: Hi

Emily:Do you have plans for this week?

Me: Not really I don't think.

"So I don't know if Emily texted you this morning but she asked if I was busy and if not to go to her house tonight." Said rose while eating her food.

"Uh She asked if I had plans this week." What is this girl up to. Our spring break is barely starting and I'm super excited.

"Hm then I guess we're going to her house tonight." Rose said with an eye roll.

"Mom said to be back at 2:30. Also I thought you were hanging out with Alan?" I said raising my eyebrows towards her.

"He Canceled. He said something came up and he had to cancel so yeah." She said kind of upset.

"I bet it's a good reason. It's 2:04 we better get home." I said trying to change the subject.

"Mom we're here!" I yelled as I closed the door. I turn around and see luggage. Hmm is my mom going somewhere?

"I'm down in the basement." She yelled back

"Why did you want us back by 2.30?" Rose asked my mom who was currently looking through the storage room. Let me tell you something about that storage room it's not organized at all, we just throw it in there.

"Oh honey do you know where all the big coats are?" She asked me which I actually didn't know. Where was she going and I don't really wanna go somewhere more cold than Oregon.

"No. Where are you going anyway?" I asked her

"Some business trip also grandma is going with me so it only makes Rose and you here at home." She said with give me a stare of saying I don't want any trouble.

"Ok Got it Mom."I said back. An hour later grandma and mom left. Now it was me and rose going towards Emily's place.
