Irish Notes: Here's another treat for the Hunnies out there....My oneshot story for JessVin. This story is not related       in the first two one shots... I hope you support this also like the first two stories... ^__^

"Class, let's have an activity today. Write a poem about your feelings towards someone it could be a friend, your family member, your boyfriend or girlfriend, or whom you secretly admired. We will read your works on Wednesday. Let your emotions overflow through your work." Our professor in speech instructed. Everyone seems excited for the poem writing thing. Honestly, I don't know what to write in this activity. I'm not the sentimental type to begin with. I let out a frustrated sigh while looking at our professor.

"Professor Gonzales, is it alright instead of reciting the poem, I'll just sing it in class?" She politely asked our professor. Professor Gonzales smiled and replied. "Yes, its fine. As long you're the who wrote the poem."

She stared at me and smiled brightly. "Fowler, what would you write about Professor Gonzales?" She curiously asked. I was mesmerized by her presence. Did I tell you she's the only person who could caught my attention? Because no one could do that the way she do.

"I don't know." I responded in a bored manner.

"Why don't you write you about Aniliesse? Since the two of you have a special bond." She suggested to me. Me and Ann? Are you kidding me? We were simply flirting each other. There's nothing special about flirting, right? If only you know the truth, Jess. Instead of agreeing to her suggestion, I laugh it out.

"Kevin, did I say something funny?"

"No, I just thought something funny. Well, there's nothing interesting to write about me and Ann," I explained.

"How about you? What would you write?" Jess smiled and didn't say a word.

"Is your silence mean that you don't want to share about it?"

"Yeah. It's a surprise." She happily chirped.

Actually, Jess and I were not really close at first. We used to be classmates at Humanities. Things turned out differently when our professor in that subject paired us in one of his reporting assignment. That's the start of our friendship. We've been together through thick and thin. She knows me really well but there's one thing she doesn't know I like her. I'm secretly liking her. For two years, I keep the feelings I have for her. I'm not confident to confess that I like her and I wanted to be her boyfriend.

"I'll be looking forward to your poem." I excitedly mumbled. She smiled at me then Jess gets a notebook on her bag. She starts writing in that notebook.

"Me too. I'm wondering what will you write about? One thing, I'm quite sure it would be special." Jess uttered while her eyes are glued on the notebook she's writting on.

It would be special if I dedicate it to you. That gives me an idea to write a poem for you. Somehow, may this poem could reach out to you and make you realize the unsaid feelings I have for you. Unconsciously, I'm smiling of the idea I've think.

Since speech was my last subject in the afternoon. I've decide to go home straight and started to write the poem. This the first time I've been motivated to do something that I'm not good at.

Wednesday afternoon, I'm on my way to the classroom for my speech class. For the last two days, I've been writing the perfect poem for her. And later I'm going to share it in front of the class. I feel uneasy of the thought. Would she able to decode what I'm trying to say?

I hope so, I hope Jess would realize the poem was for her.

Before I go inside of the room, I composed myself and take a deep breath. Trying to calm my senses. Seriously, I'm not nervous about the activity. I'm nervous of what Jess would react. It's like I'll confessed to her in front of the class. As I step inside of the room, the first person who greeted me was her.

"Hi Kevin!" She cheerfully greeted.

"Hello Jess!" I replied and put my stuff on my chair.

"By the way, do you have plans later?" She asked me.

"No. I haven't any plans. Why?" I curiously inquired. She pause for a seconds and answered.

"I just wanted to treat you since I've made it to my audition." She excitedly exclaimed. The happiness was written all over her face. Well, I'm happy for her because she made it through the auditions. Besides she deserves it in the first place.

"Thank you for convincing me to attend to that audition if not because of you, I wouldn't made it that far. Thanks Fowler!" I was astonish when she embraces me then she quickly let go.

"Jess, you don't need to thank me because you deserve it. You're almost halfway reaching your dream as a singer." I responded and smiled at her then she sweetly grinning at me.

Everytime she smiles at me, I don't how to explain this but I feel contented. Knowing she's the only person could make me happy and I wanted her to be part of my world not as a friend but my other half.

"Kevin, are you alright?" Jess concernly mumbled.

"Yeah. I'm alright." I quickly answered. I didn't realize I was spacing out in front of her. It's humiliating! I hope she didn't notice.

She seriously staring at me. Trying to assess me if I'm telling the truth.

"Good morning, class!" Professor Gonzales greeted. Good thing, Professor Gonzales arrives, I'm saved for the explaining part because I don't know what to say next. Why do I always tongue tied when in front of her?

"Good Morning Professor Gonzales!" We cheerfully said in unison.

"Looks like all of you are enthusiastic about the activity," She happily remarked then places her bag on the table. She gets her class record on her bag and holds it.

"Who's going to volunteer, first?"

Professor Gonzales announced while roaming around the room. It's now or never. I was about to raise my hand when Professor Gonzales already choose the first volunteer.

"Aira, you're the first one to share your poem." She instructed to my classmate. Aira immediately got up in her sit and went to the front.

The whole duration of the activity my mind is wondering elsewhere. I wasn't paying attention to the person who's sharing their work.

"Kevin, you're next." Professor Gonzales smilingly uttered.

As I walk in front of the class, my heart pounds so loudly. I take a deep breath and tried to calm myself. Before I start reading my work, I glance at Jess. She was smiling at me. Jess mouthed "You can do it!" Somehow, my confidence boost up. I stared to Professor Gonzales then she signaled me to start.

Let tell you a story about the girl who captured my heart.

I'm not a man of confidence but for you I tried to be one.
I've never been expressive and sweet to anyone but to you I'm willing to be one.
I'm not as tough as you thought but I found my strength because you believe in me.

I was about to read the next line but the bell rang for the next period. Crap! I haven't finish reading my work yet.

"Okay, class. Let's continue our activity this friday," Professor Gonzales said.

"Class dismissed." She added. Everyone in the room already went out but me and Jess were the remaining person left. She walks towards me and didn't expect what she said.

"The girl in your poem. She's so lucky to have you," Jess truthfully remarked. No, Jess I'm the who's lucky to know someone like you.

"Too bad. You didn't finish reading your work. I've never thought you could be poetic, Fowler." She chuckled and pats my shoulder.

"You bet." I agreed.

Honestly, Jess I can be at my best when I'm with you.

After our class in speech, the two of us went to a cake shop near at the university. Since she wanted to treat me although I insisted she didn't have to.

I was waiting at her in the corner of the cakeshop. After a few minutes, she came back carrying a tray of our food. I take the tray from her and put it on our table.

"You ordered my favorite." I happily mumbled and begin taking a bite of an oatmeal cookie.

"Of course. I know how much you love for oatmeal cookies."

"That's so sweet of you, Jessica." I gladly muttered and continue eating while she's smiling glancing at me.

"I'm wondering why you're so cute when your only eating your favorite cookies." Jess remarked. Suddenly, I felt my cheeks blushed by her comment.

"Why don't you try eating the cookies too?" I suggested. She gets one on the plate and takes a bite. Jess looks like a model having a shoot for a commercial. I didn't realize I'm indulge of my thoughts.

"Earth calling, Kevin Fowler!"

he whined. I was blankly staring at her.

"Hey Kevin, are you still with me?"

"Yeah. Of course!" I snapped.

After the awkward moment in the cakeshop, I drive her home. The whole ride was really silent. No one bothered to break the ice. I caught her stealing glances at me but when our eyes met. She looked away. A few minutes later we're already at her house. I went outside of the car to open the door for her.

"Thank you for driving me home." Jessica said.

"You're welcome. Always at your service." I grinned and bowed.

She chuckled. "See you on friday, Fowler." She waved as she walks towards their doorstep. Before she step inside of her home. I called her.

"Jessica!"

"What?"

"Could we meet Friday morning? There's something I want to tell you."

"Sure!"
