Days, weeks, months and a year have passed. I have moved on. It was easy or not so. As part of the moving on process which did not involve even a single teardrop from me, I learned how to play the guitar.
Well, I already know how when I was just about 13 but I didn’t find any inspiration to continue learning. And then that time came with a lot of free time. Avoiding boredom, I learned easily. With the advent of new technology, in just a click away, I know how to play different songs. Apparently, these different songs came from only one singer- Taylor swift.
Of course! She’s the expert in these love stories and I think she experienced a lot of different outcomes based on her songs. Yes, I found it easy to relate to her songs.
That time, what I always play in my guitar are songs like Invisible, You belong with me and I’d lie. It was a little funny to think of it now.
Some of their lyrics are, ‘’she’s never gonna love you like I want to’’, ‘’if you can see that I’m the one who understands you… you belong with me’’, ‘’and I could tell you his favorite color’s green, he loves to argue, born on the 17th, his sister’s beautiful, he has his father’s eyes and if you ask me if I love him, I’d lie’’
Yeah, overly pathetic. I even sang each of them with feelings! Well, who could blame me? I was hurt.
Time has gone by so fast that I became busier that I didn’t even have time to touch my guitar and sing Taylor’s songs. And by that, I have moved on easily.
School works, projects together with my busy schedule made me forget that I was hurt. Or that I was even in love with Ian one time in my life. The time that has passed took away all of it.
