Easy As Pie, by AngusEcrivain
Walking home from school one day, much to his surprise
An alien with yellow skin appeared before his eyes
"What the Hell?" he exclaimed out loud and dropped his cigarette
"You're an alien. That shit's about as weird as it gets."
*
"You think I'm weird?" the alien asked, his three big eyes wide open
"I'll show you weird, you little scrote. Wanna' see the Plains of Hrak-ooen?"
"Yeah, all right," the youth replied. "Sounds like a decent crack."
"Well come on then, we don't have all day. My ship's parked around the back."
*
And so the youth followed the creature to the car park beside the canal
And boarded the ship upon the side of which he read, 'Spacial International.'
"I know, right?" the alien said. "It isn't really my ship.
"Pinched it from some government types; they don't know yet, so be quick!"
*
"You want me to fly this thing?" the youth asked in wonder.
"I wouldn't know where to begin, and I'd hate to make a blunder."
"Wouldn't worry about that; it's easy as pie," the alien said, his three big eyes blinking.
"Guess I'll find out soon enough," he replied, but thought, 'shit... what was I thinking?'
