711 years after the initial outbreak, several thousand descendants of those first survivors head to Alpha Centauri, hoping to escape the undead menace for good. There is still no known cure for the zombie virus and thanks to experiments carried out during the first couple of post-outbreak years, the dead are all but immortal.
But when the nine vessels carrying a proportion of mankind's remnants are hit by an unexpected solar flare they crash land upon the extra-solar planet, their intended destination.
Can those who survive the crash survive the alien world? More to the point, can they survive the zombies...
