It's my birthday, I felt a heavy weight in my heart, experiencing a mix of emotions – some of the best and some of the worst I've ever felt. It struck me that I was carrying a new life inside me, three months along in my pregnancy. For the past three months, I'd been grappling with the realization that something had gone wrong between me and Michael. He had prioritized his career over our relationship, and when I left Neverland under the middle of the night, I kept my pregnancy hidden, seeking solace at my best friend's house. Tears streamed down my face as I felt my emotions intensify, my hand instinctively moving to rub my growing bump for comfort.

"I'm so sorry, baby. I feel like such an unfaithful mother..." I sobbed while Jade, with a worried smile, gently rubbed my back to offer comfort. My tears flowed even harder.

"Shhh, Y/N, you have to stay strong. It's not good for your baby. You know I'm here for you, and I promised to support you through this. You've been my best friend since high school, and you've helped me so much. Now it's my turn to be there for you," she said sincerely, reassuring me.

Looking up at Jade, I managed a weak smile.

"I'm truly sorry, Jade. I feel like I'm just burdening you. You don't have to go through this with me," I confessed, placing my hand on hers. But she just smirked.

"Wait, Y/N, no... You're not a burden. You never have been! Being with you, supporting you—it's something I cherish," she said, enveloping me in a warm hug.

"Really?" I asked, wiping away my tears.

"Yes!" she exclaimed, her sincerity take over me like a comforting embrace.

*knock *knock

After breaking our hug, Jade rose to her feet.

"Stay right there, I'll get the door," she said, shooting me a playful wink before heading off with a smile.

"Okay," I replied, returning her smile while cradling my stomach protectively.

......5 minutes passed......

"Y/N, there's someone here to see you," Jade announced, her lips pursed with a hint of concern.

"Oh? And who is it?" I asked, rising to my feet. But before Jade could respond, her breath caught in her throat, her eyes flickering with surprise.

Suddenly, I noticed a tall figure emerging behind her.

"Y/N?" a familiar voice echoed through the room—a voice I hadn't heard in months, a voice that had caused me both tears and stress.

"Michael?" My eyes stung with tears, blurring my vision.

My mind screamed at me to retreat, to put distance between us, but my heart yearned to run into his arms.

"Baby, I'm so sorry..." Michael's voice cracked as he removed his glasses and fedora.

He approached me, reaching out for a hug, but as he drew near, I pushed him away and retreated to my room.

Climbing onto the bed, I curled up with my knees drawn tightly to my chest, tears streaming down my face.

"Why... why did he have to come back?" I whispered, my breath hitching with emotion.

I longed to be with him, to feel his embrace, but the pain he had caused still lingered, and I couldn't ignore the effect it had on me and our unborn child.

As I wept, the weight of conflicting emotions engulfed me, leaving me utterly torn and heartbroken.

this hormones are killing me!

As I sensed the weight of the bed shifting behind me, a heavy presence enveloped the space—a familiar scent, a familiar aura.

"What do you want, Michael? If you don't have anything important to say, then leave," I managed to say through lingering tears.

"But, baby, I—" he started, his voice wavering.

"Don't call me that! You know I'm no longer a part of your life!" I recoiled at the endearment.

"Get out!" I pushed him away, my frustration boiling over.

"No! We need to talk, Y/N!" he insisted, grabbing hold of my shoulders to stop me from fleeing.

His red, swollen eyes bore into mine, intensifying my tears.

"Your words won't sway me this time, Michael. Damn you for what you've done!" I jabbed my finger at his chest, seething with anger and hurt.

"You have every right to feel that way, but honestly, I... I made a terrible, terrible mistake choosing my job over... over you," his voice cracked on the last word, his eyes heavy with guilt and sorrow as he gazed at me.

But pride surged within me, fueling my anger, and I slapped him hard across the face.

"You should have thought about that earlier," I spat, pointing accusingly at him as tears streamed down my cheeks.

With a heavy heart, I turned to leave the room...

...until his hand clamped down on my arm, forcibly spinning me around and pressing me against the wall. His gaze flicked from my stomach to my face as I struggled violently to break free.

"Michael! What are you doing? Let me go!" I screamed, panic rising within me.

"Jade! J-" I attempted to call out, but his hand covered my mouth, muffling my cries.

Leaning in with eyes filled with desire, he silenced me with a kiss.

"I still love you, Y/N," he whispered between breaths, his words softening my resolve as I reluctantly surrendered to the warmth of his embrace.
