Dean likes pie, rock music and his impala. A lot of time I see in daughter/son fan fictions that even though the daughter/son was raised by the mom. Who didn't like pie, rock music and the impala that much.
And the daughter/son loves pie, rock music and her dream car is an impala. This doesn't work. If he/she likes all those things so much then it's pure coincidence.

Please if they like these things give an explanation. As example they like the same things as their dad because their mom always told stories about them. And he or she picked it up this way.
