Chapter 11

Recap

"You know what, Summer? You seriously need a reality check. Ask Stephanie for a match with Danielle." Nikki said, daring Summer.

"I will. And, when I win, Danielle has to quit." Summer challenged me.

"Deal." I said. She then walked away. Nikki and Brie looked shocked I had said yes. If Summer wants a fight, she's gonna get just that. Game on.

Dani's POV

An hour after the confrontation between Summer and I, all the girls had chosen sides. I had Nikki, Brie, Nattie, Trin, Ariane, Eva, Emma, Layla, AJ, and Tamina. Summer had Alicia, and Aksana. Paul and Steph called me into their office about the match.

"You wanted to see me?" I said, terrified on why I was called in.

"Yes. Take a seat, Danielle." I did as told. "You're gonna have a match tonight against Summer, but if you lose you have to quit. We think Summer crossed the line, although the other Divas already chose sides. Are you sure you want to be in this match?" Paul(Triple H) said. I nodded yes. Paul sighed, and pulled out a contract. "Ok, you're set. Good luck. We'll be rooting for you."

I walked to the locker room. Aksana, Alicia, and Summer went to a different locker room, to 'avoid pre-match injuries'. I put on a my new ring gear. It was a black long-sleeved crop top, short blue jean shorts, and my hair was straightened for tonight. The girls were allowed at ringside for the match tonight. I knew they had my back if Alicia or Aksana tried to interfere.

Summer had just walked out with her goons following behind her. The girls and I were getting ready to go out, when Phil and Kevin came to wish me luck. Well, Kevin was wishing me luck, while Phil said, 'Luck is for losers'.

"Can we please talk about what happened later?" Kevin asked. I nodded, and kissed his cheek. When the sound guy put my theme, the crowd went wild. I was -apparently- a fan favorite.

We all walked out, and I could see Summer tense. This is gonna be a hard fought match. I got in the ring, and the reff signalled for them to ring the bell.

Ding Ding Ding

Summer and I locked up, and I backed her into the corner. I was kicking her while she screamed. The reff pulled me back, I saw Aksana ready to interfere with the match. She learned not to do that, considering she was outnumbered. Summer started trash talking, "You're daddy can't help you now. Oh, and you're little boyfriend, I feel bad for him. You know, kissing a virgin and all." I know she saw the fire in my eyes. She was gonna slap me until I caught her hand. She kept saying let go. When I did I slapped her. I'm pretty sure she's gonna have a bruised cheek. She fell to the floor, and I started throwing punches at her face. She was almost unconscious, so I climbed to the top rope. I set my self up for a moonsault. When it connected, I went for the pin.

1, 2, 3. Ding Ding Ding. "And, you winner by pinfall, Danielle." Justin announced. The girls jumped in the ring, and raised my hand.

'Sierra, Hotel, India, Echo, Lima, Delta. Shield.'

"You've got to be fricking kidding me." we all said in unison.

Jon, Joe, and Colby jumped the barricade. They got in the ring, I then mouthed to them, 'I hate you guys.'

They were walking toward us. They stopped once they heard Phil's theme. He came running out with Kevin, John, Bryan, Wade Barrett, TJ (Tyson Kidd), The Usos, Santino, and Zack Ryder. They all attacked the Shield, while we ran to the back. I saw Jon hit Kevin with a chair, so I got something from under the ring. They didn't see me so I came up behind them, and hit Joe with a steel chair. He fell on the ground with a thump. Colby turned and saw me. Him and Jon laughed at me, so I hit Jon too.

Colby looked angry. I slid out of the ring, and out smarted him. Phil hit Colby in the stomach. I ran over to Kevin, who was laying on the ground.

I knew I couldn't call him Kevin on Raw, so I stuck with Alex. "Alex, come on. Please, wake up. Please. Wake up." I said, shaking him lightly. I let out a long sigh, and kissed him lightly on his lips, the crowd 'Awwed' at the moment. I pulled away, and his eyes fluttered opened. "We'll have to talk after you get checked by Doc, ok?" He nodded. The medical team got Kevin to the back.

*Backstage*

I was currently in the locker room, changing into my clothes. I was stopped once again by Summer.

"That was a heart-warming scene. Too bad he's gonna forget about you." she said. 'Lord, give me the strength to not kick this bleach blonde barbie.'  I thought.

"Summer, in my office. Now." Paul told Summer. "Oh. And, Dani," my head snapped up, "good job tonight. Nice chair shot to Ambrose and Reigns. Keep it up." he finished off.

"Thank you." I replied, smirking at Summer.

"Danielle, I need to ask you something." Kevin said on our way to the bus.

"Shoot." I said.

"Well, do you remember the other night, when we kissed?" I nodded. "I know you felt something. I know that it could risk our friendship, but I like you a lot. Ever since I met you, I couldn't get you off my mind. I never really feel like this. I asked Phil already, and he gave me the 'go ahead'. Danielle Juliet Cooper, will you be my girlfriend?" he finished.

"Yes," I said smiling like an idiot, "I will." He was smiling the biggest smile I have ever seen. He then started leaning in and I did too. Just as we were about to kiss, the bus door opened. We pulled back, and just chuckled.
