Chapter 16

Recap

Ten minutes into the match, Jon and I were still at each other's throats (character wize). Phil had the upper hand, until the lights went out in the arena.

"What the hell?" Jon and I said at the exact same time.

Dani's POV

Jon and I took off our headsets, and walked over to each other. "Jon," I said in a whisper, "Paul tells you guys what's gonna happen before me. What's going on?"

"I don't know. This isn't supposed to happen. It could be anything from the power going out to a malfunction." Jon explained.

Then we saw a bright at the top of the ramp. It was a lamp that Bray Wyatt uses. Both of us looked at each other.

"Wyatts." We said through gritted teeth.

Jon and I ran back to our seats, and put our headsets back on. Just as I was gonna say something, the lights came on, and Phil, Joe, and Colby were gone. Jon and I looked at each other, slightly terrified. Then the show went off the air.

We ran to the back. We were frantically looking for Paul. We were asking everyone, but they didn't know. We went up to Glenn(Kane). "Glenn, I know you know where Paul is. Where is he?" I asked, agitated.

"He's in his office. He just went in there." he said.

We both ran to his office. I knocked, and heard Steph say to come in. We walked in.

"Hi Danielle, Jon," Stephanie greeted us with a smile, "What can we do for you two?"

"What was that? Why did we not know about it?" Jon asked, frantically.

"And, where are Joe, Colby, and my dad?" I asked.

"You guys are going to have a temporary alliance." Paul told us. He then started to elaborate on it, "You two are going to be trying to figure out who took them. You guys will have a romantic storyline, but it might not be used."

"We can't use the love storyline." I told Paul. "I mean like I have a boyfriend, he's strong enough to kill Jon within seconds."

"And," Jon added, " Renee would kill me. You've see how she gets when she's jelous."

"Look," Steph said, "We think this could grow your fan bases a lot more."

"But, no one likes a happy ending." I pointed out, "So if we're going to use it, it has to be unordinary and disfunctional. And, can it be stretched to 3 weeks till you end up having us do something drastic?" Jon then whispered something in my ear, "Oh, and we want to keep our current traveling conditions. Can we make those the conditions?" I negotiated. Paul and Steph looked at Jon and I.

Paul stood up, looking slightly terrifying, and said, "And, now I know how you get yourself out of some of the situations you get into. You got yourself a deal."

"Thank you." I smiled sweetly at them. "Pleasure doing business with you." Jon and I walked out of their office. Jon looked at me with wide eyes. "You do not want to know." I told him knowing what he was thinking.

So, on to the serious stuff. I'm gonna be on hiatus for a while. In that time I'm gonna be writing more chapters so I can update a chapter while having more to write.
