Knights

So this is inspired by the knights of kandor, great story, so here we go

The knight walked gently into the courtroom of the royal family.

"Sir Avatar welcome to the sato court" The king says welcoming the knight

Korra afraid her voice would give her away gave a simple bow

Asami POV

My eyes observe the knight, his tanned skin perfectly contradicted his piercing blue eyes and his short brown hair bounced at each step he took

"You will be training with Sir.Mako for combat, and Sir.Bolin will be training you in Rights and rules, and Lady. Beifong will be teaching you in knighthood" My Father continued

The knight simply nodded

I scanned over his facial features, his cheekbones were defined, there was a light scar that was at the bottom of his cheek and continued down into his neck, how did the knight get that

"Do you understand sir Avatar" My father concluded

"Yes your Majesty" the knight says

His voice made my stomach turn upside down , strong and commanding and yet soft and gentle

"My daughter will take you to your quarters, you will be next to her in case of emergency"

The knight bows and I stand up and beckon him to follow

I let my cold glare fall as soon as we are In private

"Do you have a name" I ask him

"My lady I shan't trouble you with my life, Avatar would suffice" he says in a dismissive way

"Well than Avatar no need for formalities, you can call me Asami when we are in private" I tell him

"Yes my lady" he says

I raise an eyebrow

"Yes Asami" he says letting out a sigh

"So what made you save my father" I ask him as he opens his door

"I made a promise" He says before shutting the door

"Ok then see you at dinner" I mumble a little to loudly

The door swings open again

"I'm sorry princess, I'm just a little too sensitive about my past, please except my dearest apologies" He says kneeling down

"It's ok rise Avatar" I tell him as a smile returns to my face

"May I accompany you to your room my l..., Asami" the knight says swiftly correcting himself

"You may" I tell him

He loops his arm against his side and I slip my arm into his grasp

We walk for few seconds before stopping and pulling away, I hated that we had to let go

He nervously rubbed his brown and offered a ghost of a smile

"Thank you, I'm excited to have you as a bodyguard" I tell him

I could have sworn his cheeks got redder

"Princess wait there is something I need to tell you" He says

I raise a dark brow indicating for him to continue

"My name is Korra"

At first I was taken back, is that not a female name, and not a water tribe name, but he trusted me that was enough

"Please don't tell anyone" He begs

"Yes Korra Avatar" I tell him before disappearing into my room

There is clearly more than meets the eye about Avatar and I'm gunna find out

Korra POV

You stupid why did you tell her

I locked my door and collapsed on the bed, it felt like a cloud it had been a while since I had a bed

My squire Kai dropped my stuff off, I should thank him later

I slip on a tunic and attach my sword to my belt

I walk into the court yard and lean on the cold stone

My eyes watch young knights facing off

The first one stood up, his back was hunched, the other stood up, to hand on the training blade, to weak

They started, immediately the sloppy one fell back knocking him out of the ring

I watch it for a couple of minutes before letting out a deep sigh

I walk up and grab a training sword

"Give me your best swordsman" I tell them

"Ha, your to small and you have no armour" one of them says

I ignore his comment, they push the biggest guy up

He let's out a low growl and charges at me

I slip my right foot out tripping him up and he fell out of the ring

"Ok who's next" I tell them

I look among the shocked students

"I see you found my students" I hear a serious voice says

I turn around to see a dark haired man

"Sir.Mako, may I challenge you" He says picking up a training blade

I give a simple nod

We both get ready for a fight, I knew this would be a challenge, he posture was perfect but he favoured his right

We launch into battle

He jabs his sword at my waist, I barely dodge, I slam my blade sideways into my right wrist, he let out a groan of pain, he swiftly changed hands and he slashed his blade along my shoulder

I ignore the pain as I kick the back of his leg as he turned around for an attack, he falls down on his knees and I hold the blade to his neck

"Well it's been a while since I have been beat"

I pull away

"This is how you fight" Mako says gesturing in my general direction 

"Thank you I must excuse myself" I tell them giving the sword back to Mako 

I walk back to my quarter and lock the door once again 

I pull my tunic off, trying to not take my chest bondage off

I let out a gasp of pain as I place my hand on the cut, it was deeper than I though, my tunic was now soaking eighth blood

I mutter some censored words and seal up the wound 

I take out a new tunic and slip it on and make my way to dinner 

"Sir.Avatar" I hear the princess say my name 

"My lady, shall I take you to dinner" I tell her 

"Your to kind sir" she says in a seductive way, I feel my cheeks warm up but I push the feelings away

We walk Into the giant hall, I look at Asami and once again she has her cold glare covering her beautiful face, stop it Korra, she straight 

So the is it, if you want more of this then hopefully I can write some soon, also the next one shot will be late, just a heads up, so yeah
