The atmosphere was tense and there was a small puddle of blood beneath the man who was in chains and strapped to the wall with rope. There were some men standing beside him and in their hands were whips.

‘You remember what I said. I said that if you would touch ANYTHING other than the stuff you had then you would have to pay the price. But NO you thought of being smart and nicked stuff behind my back. I’m right. I don’t need you to tell me because I was never wrong in my life. That’s right’ said the man as though the prisoner had said something. The man at the left of the prisoner then took over. He cracked his knuckles and cracked the joints and muscles on his neck and as he got nearer to the prisoner he said ‘he’s right. He’s not kidding, in fact he doesn’t EVER joke. A very serious man I tell you. Moving on, as Mr Marvin Hawk said, you did it behind HIS back, and let me tell you something mister. He never lies and he sees and knows ALL in Fantamasia and Lost Treasure Island.’

The prisoner then spat and blood came out of his mouth. After a minute or so he said ‘but the point is that he’s wrong. I DID ask people and you were present at that time Mr Hawk. Why don’t you just agree and then you can unchain me’ pleaded the prisoner. The man at the left named Baldwood. His sir name was never mentioned which may have meant he was an orphan. Bald wood said ‘let me at him sir’ he said as he cracked his knuckles and gave the prisoner a death stare. ‘Baldwood I think that is enough. Thank you!’ Hawk was on his knees now and held the prisoners face in his hands so that he could scan the fear on the man’s face and pain in his eyes. ‘So tell me old chap, how’s your daughter doing? What’s her name again Lily? She hasn’t saved you. I would say she lost hope. It’s a shame you put all your hope in a young child who is capable of nothing in this cruel, and dangerous world’

He was on his feet now and his back was turned to the prisoner when he screamed and said ‘you can do whatever you want. You can kill me, burn my house down if you like anything but please I beg you. Please, please don’t hurt my daughter. Anything but that, I beg you. Please. Just because you lost your family it doesn’t mean you have to make me lose mine. You used to me one of my friends, ever since you found this place you put nothing but hatred in your heart towards the people who you cared about the most. Before you knew it you lost your family and you blamed your friends. Not before long, YOU changed. But you can change back into the person you used to be but just please don’t. Don’t hurt my daughter-.......’ he could never finish his speech because Martin Hawk had punched him into unconsciousness.

He then faced Baldwood and whispered ‘do me a favour and make sure the girl’s way to Fantamasia will be a joy ride’ he ordered Baldwood as he got a lighter and lit the cigarette in his hand. ‘I won’t let you down boss don’t you worry’ said Baldwood positively. Hawk let the room be filled with smoke from the cigar and said ‘Let’s hope not. Oh and another thing, I want him alive’ he said as he pointed to the prisoner. He stared at the scene in front of the small window. There was no wind and no cloud to be seen in the sky and the sky was filled with billions of starts shining bright each shooting starts waiting for something good to happen. He looked at the scene and slowly the ground began to become a tinge of bloody red. ‘Every wrong deed comes with a price old chap’ said Martin and with that he dropped his cigar on the floor, crushed it with his shoe and slammed the door shut; the small amount of light that quickly entered the room vanished just like that. Afterwards Baldwood walked out saying ‘I would tell you to have good dreams but I doubt you’ll ever get any’
