When we do roll call, we sometimes say things instead of here and present. I've heard things like:
"I'm not here!"
"Am I alive?"
"AAAAAAAAYYYYY!!!!!"
The boys sometimes say "is better than-" just because they need a little ego boost. In the recent practices, when our show choir director hears the "is better than-" response, she immediately says the speakers name so it sounds like:
Director: "Dis Boi?"
Dis Boi: "Is better than-"
Director: "Dis Boi.". o-o
I once replied with " somehow still alive" and you could hear her mutter, "same."
