Just because show choir season is over doesn't mean that the fear of missing practice is too.
My show choir practice usually begins at 7:00 A.M., and my mom had momentarily forgot that practice had ended a week ago.
Here's what basically happened:
She was going down the stairs at 7:30 in the morning when she had the sudden (and misled) realization that I had show choir practice today. She stopped dead in her tracks at the bottom of the stairs and looked at the clock located at the bottom of the staircase.
She turned her head around and realized that I was sitting at the table, eating pancakes when I "should have been" at show choir practice.
She shrieked and told me that I had forgotten about my show choir practice. Me and the rest of my family had to remind her that show choir practice was over for the year. (•,~•,)
Then, I went back to my delicious pancakes.
