When I Met You

Chapter 2: Gone

(Authors note: 2nd update today loll. im enjoying this. im going to try getting to 5 parts of the story done in the next couple days, if i have internet because im out of town)

Chapter 2

I woke up at 3 in the morning shivering. I hate my life. my mom died about three months ago from cancer, and i was told by my dad to forget about her. i always had a feeling he never really loved her while she was still alive. he didnt shed a tear when she died. my mom was the best thing thats ever happened to me, and her death was the worst. i started crying. and this time, it was for her, which the last time i've done was about two months ago. as i started crying, it seemed as if i couldnt stop. i thought of how messed up my life was and memories of me and my mother flashed in my head.

"Shut up! I'm trying to sleep!" yelled Jake from his room. Just then I realized I was crying out loud.

"Sorry," I said quietly, between cries. I felt unwelcomed at Jake's. I wanted to leave, now. I grabbed my bag and snuck out of the room silently. I grabbed a pen and piece of paper from the counter and wrote a note to Jake for when he wakes up.

"Sorry, got a call from my father saying he needed me. C U soon" I wrote, then walked out of the front door.

I was so stupid, i didnt think this through. i was freezing, walking in the streets alone. as i passed by a bar, there were men and women standing outside. one of the men came up to me.

"Hey slut," he said, scooting closer and closer with each word. All his friends looked over at us and laughed. I tried walking away but he grabbed me by the arm, reminding me of Jake. He turned me around to face him, getting his face so close to mine that our noses brushed against each other. He grabbed my bottom and i jumped. I tried pushing him away but he was too strong for me. Just then, a tall girl with long blonde hair and blue eyes wearing a Kiss band shirt with shorts walked out of the bar and saw us.

"Hey manwhore, leave her alone," she spoke. The man let go of me and let out an amused laugh.

"And you are..?" He asked.

"Thats none of your business," she sassed back, grabbing my hand and walking away with me.
