Took inspiration from the song "love; not wrong" by EDEN.  Not any of the lines, just the title and a bit of the plot.  He's basically the only thing I listen to these days.

You strode along the beach, hand in hand with your boyfriend, Seán.

"Are you excited for the party next month?" you asked him after a bit of peaceful silence. He chuckled and looked away.

"...Yeah. I'm sure it'll be great," he said quietly, but he shook his head after he said that. "Ah. Screw it. It's not going to work, is it?"

"What do you mean?" you asked him.

"I'm moving, (Y/N). Away, and I can't see you anymore. It's just too far away for me to see you on a daily basis." He stopped walking and gripped both of your hands sadly. "I'm gone by tomorrow evening."

The words he spoke felt like spikes in your heart. "Why didn't you tell me earlier, Seán?"

He shrugged, "I didn't want you to panic."

"We could have done more stuff together," you muttered, looking down at your hands clasped in your boyfriend's. "What do we do now?"

"We could just go on. We can still call each other, it'll be like nothing happened," he offered, but you shook your head.

"Not if you're so far away. I don't want to do that to you," you shook your head firmly, starting to tear up.

"Well, what do you want to do then?" he asked you.

"I... we'll spend today and tomorrow together. Do everything we could possibly do. And when you have to go...." You stared up at his sad blue eyes and whispered, "then I'll see you again one day, right?"

He chuckled and shook his head. "You're a strange one (Y/N)." He pecked your forehead. "I think that's why I fell in love with you in the first place."

You laughed at that, remembering all the good times you had with the Irishman. "Don't be like that, Seán. Let's go do stuff."

You and Seán went to the theatre, but you couldn't concentrate. You went to the arcade, but he always let you win. It seemed like there was nothing you could do together without being reminded that you would never see the love of your life again.

The weekend passed and you found yourself standing outside Seán's door as men moved cardboard boxes from the house and into a large moving truck.

"I'll miss you," he smiled.

"Don't, then. Don't text me, huh? I want you to move on, especially now that we're not going to see each other again. Okay?" you asked. He winced at your words.

"I hate that you want me to move on, (Y/N). I hate the fact that you're so nice," he scoffed, smiling at you.

"Are you coming, Jack?" his sister called from the car. Seán nodded solemnly and turned to you with a frown.

"I don't know how I could love anyone but you, (Y/N)." He shook his head.

"Don't say that. It'll happen. You'll find someone else you'll like, and you'll forget all about me," you shrugged.

"Don't say that," he scolded, putting two fingers under your chin and raising your head. "Don't say that, angel. I'll never forget you." He nuzzled his head beside your head and onto your shoulder. "I'll never love anyone but you."

There was a honk from the van, making Seán jump in surprise.

"Goodbye, Seán McLoughlin. I'll miss you," you smiled, pecked his scruffy cheek, and turned around, not looking back at the boy you loved so dearly.
