(Did I mention that they all have flashlights? Who in their right mind would walk through a haunted house in the dark? Next chapter will be happening at the same time, but with Sketch and Corl cuz' I don't want this chapter to be too long.)

Denis walked through the hallways with his flashlight, looking around at all the spider webs and broken, dusty antiques around him. Before long, he came across a door with lights peering out from the space underneath it. He reached for the handle, wondering if Alex or any of the others had found a secret tunnel or something. A scream abruptly stopped his thoughts, and the light went out as soon as it had come on. Denis whipped around, dashing to where the scream came from behind him. It hadn't been quiet enough to have been the others, so it must have been Alex.

Alex opened his eyes after being knocked out to find himself locked in a closet. 'Dang it,' he thought, 'I already came out of the closet once, do I really have to do it again?' He stood up and looked around. There wasn't any sign of the thing that had grabbed him anywhere. Alex brushed the dust off of him, and tried the door handle. Nothing. 'Great. Now how am I supposed to get out of here?' He pondered for a bit before deciding that the best thing he could do in this situation was to scream. He was too small to barrel into the door and knock it down. Maybe Denis could, but definitely not Alex. He took a deep breath, and screamed at the top of his lungs. Hopefully somebody would hear him.

Denis turned the corner, running into the corridor Alex had gone into. The first door he came across was a closet, so he reached to open the door. It was pretty dang unlikely that Alex was in the closet, but- Denis opened the door, and there sat Alex. Nevermind.
