(Sorry for being dead. I know I say that almost everything I post now, and I also say that I'll try to be more active and then die for another month, but I believe that I mean it this time. I know belief is half of all healing ((hehe)), but I'll actually try this time. I promise. I also want to update this because it's spooky month and this is a spooky story, lol. There's a tiny bit of violence in this chapter, just a little, Alex just punches someone. That's it. Just thought I should say it just in case.)

'Denis' didn't move, presumably awaiting an answer from Alex. Alex hated what he was about to do, but it had to be done. He raised his fist and punched 'Denis' straight in the face, knocking him down momentarily. Huh. Didn't know ghosts could be punched, Alex thought. "What the-" the thing said, but Alex interrupted it.

"Denis doesn't love me back."

The venom in Alex's voice surprised the both of them, but Alex didn't let it show. Despite the tears in his eyes, he stayed strong. He hated the sight of his fist on what looked like Denis' face, he hated that he just admitted what he had been denying since he first fell for Denis, and he absolutely hated everything about this place. But he stayed strong.

Just then, another Denis turned the corner in front of the two, wielding a pipe. "LEAVE MY BOYFRIEND ALONE!!" he shouted, then paused, seemingly realizing what he said. "Wh- I just- boyfriend??" Alex sputtered, his face going as red as the YouTube logo. "Oh," muttered the other Denis, which was still confusing Alex to no end. Neither noticed as the first 'Denis' got up behind Alex as they walked towards each other, 'Denis' the second lowering his weapon.

"Ow! Sorry, dude," Sketch said, reluctantly moving to get off of Corl. "It's fine. Why are you here and not with Denis?" Corl asked, trying not to sound jealous, but Sketch made a face, so it was most likely he definitely sounded jealous. "He went to see if Alex was okay, so I came to check on you. Because I was worried," Sketch replied. Corl nodded.

The two looked over as a voice shouted something, then back at each other. "We should probably check that out," Corl said, so they ran in the direction Sketch had run in, only to be met with a wall.

"What the heck? I'm pretty sure that wasn't there before." Sketch said. Corl opened his mouth to reply, but was cut off by a loud sound behind him. He whirled around to find that the hallway he and Sketch were in to be replaced by walls.

"Neither were those," he said.

'Denis' numero dos and Alex stopped in front of each other, Alex staring into the other's eyes, reminding him of one of the reasons he had fallen in love with Denis. Their moment was interrupted by the original 'Denis' knocking the other over and reaching for the pipe. Alex grabbed the makeshift weapon before the probable ghost could, and held it like a baseball bat.

"All right Denises. Deni? Whatever. I'm going to ask you both questions that only the real Denis will know," Alex said as 'Denis' the sequel stood up. "Like in Spongebob?" the latter asked, and Alex nodded. "Like in Spongebob," he replied, smiling softly.

(This was supposed to be longer, but I forgot what I was going to write after this, grr. Sorry. I'll probably make another next week.)
