Galaxy (3rd POV)
Claire had barely made to her cave when her limbs failed her. She collapsed beside her ledge, crushing the flower she held in her talons. Not shortly after Claire lost her sight and vision.
Everybody rushed in and Galaxy asked what was wrong. Echo started breathing ice on the floor and made a ice pack from the ice.
Galaxy knew what the problem was and he started turning pale blue, dark green, and pale green. In Claire's mind Galaxy heard that being in this "viper attack" was painful and that you could feel everything while asleep. All the pain is still felt even in what looks like an unconscious state. Galaxy worried for Claire even more after hearing her thoughts on the viper attack.
I hope she's OK. Man I wish that i could read minds, Echo thought. Sparks started to appear her talons so she went to the corner so that she wouldn't hurt Claire.
You can still talk to me though, Galaxy thought sympathetically.
Yeah, but first make sure Claire is OK, Echo thought back.
Yeah, of course, Galaxy replied.
Ivy went to get a healer and when he came back he started to carry Claire over to the healer's hut.
"Stop! She doesn't need a healer," Galaxy insisted turning more pale blue and orange. Slowly Claire had regained her hearing while Ivy argued about going to the healer's hut. Luma then pinned Ivy to the ground until Claire got better. Ivy had started making snake hisses. Claire who can hear the hisses began to panic,"What is that!?Guys!?Are you still there!?...OWW!"
"Ivy stop hissing you're hurting Claire even more," Galaxy said his whole body now pale blue.
"GUYS!? WHERE ARE YOU!?" Claire panicked.
Rushing to her side Galaxy said calmly while still very pale blue, "Calm down you're in your cave."
"Err... can we put it back in the terrarium? And I guess I have to tell you guys now..." Claire explained in a low voice.
"Alright," Galaxy said gesturing everyone to come into Claires' cave.
"I believe I should explain a few things...And the first is that the thing that just happened was not the snake's fault...sort of," Claire stammered.
"Now that everyone is calm let Claire explain what had happened," Galaxy relieved and turning back to normal. A little pink escaped when he glanced at Claire.
Claire now explained why this had happened and how it started along with her family's tragic story. Claire glanced at Galaxy and her scales had turned a little pinkish as she blushed. Ivy managed to see the small bit of pink in Galaxy's scales, "GALAXY LIKES CLAIRE!" He yelled and giggled at himself, his earlier frustration
gone.
"W-w-what!? N-no I don't," Galaxy stuttered, emitting waves of light pink and white.
"W-what..." Claire said flustered.
"By the way sorry for being in your mind," Galaxy quickly apologized turning more light pink and white.
"Embarrassment and fear. Before it was love. You can't lie about your feelings to a fellow Rainwing hybrid. Wait make that a lot of fear and embarrassment." Ivy giggled quietly.
Luma mumbled,"Wow thank god I'm not a Rainwing."
"Uhhhh,"Galaxy said, flustered still turning pinker, the white gone now.
Claire simply stood, confused and blushing. She looked to Galaxy and started blushing.
"Lucky you, you got a lover," Echo joked to Claire.
Claire gave a small glare to Echo. She looked back at the others, still confused on what to do next.
"Anyway," Galaxy said in a hurry,"Lets get back to packing for the trip," Galaxy quickly averted his gaze, trying to hide the pink.
"Y-yeah, good idea. C'mon guys,"Claire stammered
"Let's quickly eat dinner then go to sleep. Tomorrow morning we leave for Jade Mountain," Galaxy said finally hiding the light pink in his scales.
So much love, Echo thought.
Shut up, Galaxy replied in thought, flashing his Seawing scales on his tail three times . 'Squid-brain'.
Claire returned to her ledge in the cave. She was confused on the concept of people liking her a little, but did she possibly like Galaxy back...
Galaxy finished reassuring Luma not to worry about the trip telepathically. Galaxy made his way back to his cave which was ironically located just across the hall from Claire's thinking; Do I like Claire?...Will she like me back even if I do? What should I do? Now in deep thought about this.
