The Flight to Jade Mountain

Galaxy (3rd POV)

Echo looked back and saw the royal patterns on Galaxy's wings and smiled. Ivy asked Claire if it was OK that he had his snake with him and Claire replied,"I'm sorry...I just don't think I'll be able to get over my fear," Claire then moved away from the snake, extremely nervous.

"Oh. Well I hope you can get over it so that every time you see my snake you don't freak out," Ivy said.

Seeing Claire's discomfort from Ivy's questions Galaxy's scales started pulsating waves of red and pale blue. 

Can I, Echo asked through the telepathic link.

Go ahead but do it lightly, Galaxy replied in thought.

Echo hit Ivy in the snout lightly so that he would shut up. Galaxy did the same only not just to keep his mouth shut but to stop him from ever bringing up the subject again. Ivy simply started to mutter insults in his head loudly enough so that Galaxy could hear all of them. They continued to fly towards Jade mountain, but Claire looked a bit concerned and asked," Will he be OK?"

"I'm sure he's fine," Echo said gently.

"He'll be fine, he's had worse," Galaxy said as his scales returned to normal.

Echo looked at Ivy, Probably a million threats going through his head, she thought.

There are more than a trillion coming through actually, Galaxy thought as he closed the channel between their minds.

Claire tried to stop worrying about it and asked,"Well...are we almost there yet?"

"Almost," Galaxy replied as he saw the peak of the mountain.

Echo sighed, Oh well.

Claire sort of sighed. She wanted to join the conversation, but didn't know how.

Galaxy saw this drop in Claire mood and thought,  What's going on Claire? You look a bit down. Galaxy turned pale blue and violet when he asked the question.

Claire seemed slightly alarmed. She wasn't used to talking with her thoughts and she instead talked aloud,"Oh, I guess...but never mind. I think we're almost there."

Echo sped up to Ivy to try and give Galaxy and Claire some space.

Claire turned to Galaxy and asked," Do you think I've offended him?"

"Of course not. He's just a little...upset," He replied.

Ivy spat venom at Echo saying something along the lines of 'I don't care'.

"Are you SURE, Galaxy??" asked Claire concerned that Ivy just spat venom at Echo.

Echo flew above Ivy and mumbled something.

"I think I know my Rainwing color interpretation well enough and I trust my mind reading abilities," he replied,"Besides I'm only worried about you right now," Galaxy added turning a bit light pink.

"Alright, you're the expert...but he seems a bit aggressive on Echo," she said blushing because of Galaxy's concern for her.

*Echo and Ivy start fighting*

Uh-oh... Galaxy thought They actually started to fight.

Echo hit Ivy with a stream of cold-hot fire and Ivy shot some venom out and hit one of Echo's wingtips. They both fell down and were screaming insults at each other. Galaxy and Claire managed to catch Echo while Luma and Flurry came back and caught Ivy.

"Are you two OK?" Galaxy asked with a flux of red, pale blue, and pale green swirled in his scales.

"Yeah, we're fine," they said in unison then they went back to arguing with each other.

At this rate those two will die from blood loss, Galaxy quickly thought and then took two darts from his pouch and shot both Ivy and Echo,"Alright luckily we're not too far away from the academy since Flurry has gone ahead to warn the staff there I'll have to carry Echo and you have to carry Ivy with Luma," Galaxy said calmly.

"You sure you can carry her by yourself?"Claire asked worried.

"Yeah, I should be fine" he replied turning pink quickly due to Claire's concern.

The three of them flew towards Jade Mountain with two injured dragonets on their backs.
