Shortly after Queen Coral summoned all 32 princes into the council room, which obviously had been renovated so they could all fit, Galaxy noticed the tense air between all of them and had shifted a bit uncomfortably in it.
Glad his spot was next to Turtle's(since seatings were arranged by age) he felt somewhat less...awkward? Yes awkward is a fitting word.
"So um...are we gonna start talking?" Gull, the dumbest of them(it's true. And we brothers all know it), asked, breaking the silence between them in the room.
"Yes well...you see. I'm sure this proposal had already been told to those who are present, especially to young Galaxy over there. 5 out of 6 queens have already agreed to this proposal but I am undecided," Queen Coral began with a hint of disgust.
We all knew she was trying to get to know all of us better but she still has some impartial feelings towards most of us. Currently the only ones she's accepted are Lotus, the eldest, Turtle and Galaxy who were the youngest, Fin, Octopus, and Cerulean.
"She is so due to her...many possible heirs," Tsunami finished before looking over to us with a smirk.
"Yes. Quite so. And frankly, understandably so," the Queen said, annoyance seeping into her voice.
"But as a gesture of her kindness, she has decided to put it to a vote between all of the royal heirs," Anemone said, with a flair of sarcasm that cracked a smile out of us.
"Cool! It'd be practically unanimous!" Hydro exclaimed cheerfully.
"But!" Turtle interjected, "That would mean we'd have to take classes in the things a royal needs to understand before becoming worthy of challenging the throne."
"Which most likely is going to be placed in the treaty across Pyrrhia to ensure ready male heirs to the throne since the other kingdoms have only one or two princes who are much younger than any of us and have plenty of time to learn," Galaxy added and shared a grin with Tsunami and Turtle.
"Yes. That is exactly my worry if we are to agree to have princes have the ability to attain the title of King of Seawings," the Queen said, smiling at the brightness the two youngest, and closest in age to her two eldest daughters, princes seem to have.
"Of course we added a statement where you could refuse the title and stay a prince but would have to go through at least a month of lessons," she added quickly.
"Well I have no arguments," Island said with a short shrug.
"Me neither. It sounds like an ok plan," Seaglass piped up.
"I dunno you guys...lessons mean work," Aqua said hesitantly.
"Yeah but I'm up for it. I can think of this as another competition!" Bubble, Ocean, Tide, Wet, and Cerulean said almost at the same time.
Overall, the princes were almost all in agreement with the idea.
"Well then I guess this concludes our meeting. I have set up rooms of five for all of you to stay in the royal chambers. Galaxy and Turtle are staying with my daughters as I believe they can protect them best and since they seem to be very close. For the rest of you, you may choose who'd you would like to sleep with. Just write down all your names and which chamber you're in and drop it off in my room," Queen Coral said gently. Despite her rough attitude and personality, she can be a nice and loving mother.
With that 30 Seawing princes dashed out to decide which chamber to sleep in. After all they never got one before that was so close to their mother's which meant they actually get to be treated as royalty.
"Come on you guys! We're in the first room which is closest to mom! Auklet will be so happy you're living with us!" Anemone said excitedly, before darting off to their chambers in the Summer Palace.
"Anemone's excited huh?" Turtle laughed.
"Yup. After all she going to be able to live freely from our mom now and gets to spend time with you guys!" Tsunami replied eagerly.
"Guess you are too huh Tsu-Tsu?" Galaxy laughed as he jumped onto her older sister's back
"Oh shut up you little rascal! And hey! You're not 2 anymore Axy! You're 6 so act like it!" she scolded playfully.
"Nami you've told me to do that for 4 years. You really think it's gonna work?" he said and stayed on her back while hugging her. Tsunami signed and readjusted her body.
"Guess not. You truly are my only weakness,"
"I'm here too y'know!" Turtle exclaimed.
"I know that! Comere you cute turtle," Tsunami said while giving Turtle a nudge.
"Oh and by the way. Do you guys cuddle sometimes when you're asleep?" Galaxy asked, since he was a bit of a cuddler("bit" meaning he can't sleep without hugging something or someone :3)
"You'll fit right in Axy! Now come on! I'll show you the room," Tsunami urged and dragged Turtle slightly, not needing to drag Galaxy since he was riding on her.

A/N: Hey guys! Sorry about the long break in between this chapter and the last. I've been doing a lot of thinking and my schedule is SUPER busy with high school coming up for me. To those who keep reading this story and my other one, A Howl To The Moon, I owe you guys a HUUUUUGE thank you and apology. I know I've been spotty and inconsistent, probably lazy too, which is why I apologize for my actions. I'll try to make more time for you guys from now on and all I need to keep going is your wonderful support!
Speaking of which, I will begin a Truth or Dare story somewhere along the time of this summer, using my characters so far from Ravine Hybrid Academy (which will also be renamed and will take reader suggestions into consideration) and occasionally crossovers from AHTTM.
So look forward to it! Thank you again for reading if you still are and keep shining like the stars you are!
