Galaxy (3rd POV)
Galaxy woke up earlier than everyone else due to his self-defense training back at home. He grabbed his pouch and ate breakfast hoping Claire would wake up next.
Flurry woke up and felt strange but didn't think much of it and just like Galaxy she hoped Claire was awake. Echo and Aurora walked into the prey center to start eating as well.
"Galaxy, how long have you been up?" Echo asked.
"Just about an hour and a half ago, why?"He replied.
"And you're not tired!?" Aurora asked.
"I get up pretty early, but the sun wasn't even up that long ago!" Echo exclaimed, " You got up really early."
"Deathbringer always had us stay up all night for a month in training, so I've gotten used to it," Galaxy simply explained.
"Oh, OK," Aurora and Echo said in awe.
"Time for fruit!" Ivy yelled as he came into the prey center.
"Why do you Rainwings like fruit so much?" Aurora asked.
"Well the only thing I ate when I was spending time with Aunt Glory was fruit, so I like it a lot," Galaxy replied and realized he said "Aunt" Glory. He hoped no one heard that.
Everyone just ignored him and went to eat more food. Phew , Galaxy thought as no one seemed to notice what he said.
"Hey Galaxy when did you say you ate fruit?" Echo asked thinking she heard something else in his sentence.
"Whenever I spent time with Aunt Glory. Why?" Galaxy replied, realizing too late he said Aunt Glory again.
"I KNEW IT!" Echo exclaimed, using her incredible hearing.
"AUNT GLORY!? AS IN...YOU'RE THE QUEEN'S NEPHEW!?!?" Ivy yelled in surprise, his eyes wide.
Oops, Galaxy thought. "You found me out," Galaxy chuckled nervously.
"Well hello your majesty," Flurry joked.
"Queen Grandeur had another son with a Nightwing. Later that Night/Rainwing hybrid fell in love with Queen Coral and they had an egg. That egg was me," Galaxy sighed while explaining. "Also, Echo I heard that," Galaxy said, after hearing Echo think about how a lot of dragons are royal in their group.
Later in the morning the dragonets walked to the entrance. Galaxy asked, "Is Claire up yet?"
"To my knowledge no she's not," Flurry said, "I wish she was though," She added quietly.
Galaxy the only one who heard Flurry mumble. "Me too," He mumbled too Flurry.
Claire woke up and walked to the prey center. Entering the room she yelled, "Hello guys!"
"Oh, hi Claire!" Galaxy said enthusiastically letting a wave of pink sweep through his scales and letting himself blush a little.
"So what's all this about fruits?" She asked.
"Ivy is trying to get everyone hooked into fruits," Echo replied
"Oh! Sounds great!" Claire said picking up a banana.
"Here, some mango raspberry smoothies," Galaxy said as he handed them out. When he gave one to Claire the tip of his tail turned light pink for a second.
"Smoothie!?" Echo asked and started to bounce over to Galaxy to grab one. Then stopped to see Galaxy blushing. A tang of jealousy then it was gone.
*After a lot of arguing about fruit*
"Alright time to go. Is everyone ready?" Galaxy asked, looking around.
"Nope, gotta get my boa," Ivy said as he popped back with a terrarium.
The dragonets slowly prepared themselves for the flight.
