Part 4

Mike's POV

The party was now in full swing. I had my eye on June downing a little to many drinks. Lizz had came over later then late and was looking rather upset. I strolled over to her.

"Hey Lizz. You alright?" I had to raise my voice over the music. It was so loud.

"No not really Mike, Lukes threatening to dump me, he says he don't trust me and how I've cheated on him, but I've never cheated on him never."

"Aww Lizz come here." I hugged her tightly.

"Mike, if he comes by later would you talk with him u know man to man convince him I'm not cheating?"

I was shocked Luke isn't exactly the chatty lad type

"Yeah sure, come find me if he comes by," I replied.

"Thanks Mike."

I smiled weakly and went over to June.

"June, just checking on you how much drinks you had tonight?"June looked at me confused.

"What why?" she slurred

"never mind , just remember I am taking you home tonight."June grabbed another drink and went to the dance floor.

I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned round to see Texas, she looked amazing and happiness was apparent on her face

"Come with me," she whispered in my ear

I felt excitement well up inside my stomach

She led me to her store room and locked us inside

"Mike I just opened your gift. Its amazing but, it must of cost loads."

"No the price is nothing really.Your worth it." I moved in closer. 

I wanted to kiss her so bad but she stepped back. After a moment of awkard silence Texas pulled me close and kissed me lightly on the lips.

"Thanks Mike, your the best best-friend" she smiled shyly an unlocked the door an left.

I was dazed by what happened. Has she realized how I feel or was the peck on the lips just us being friends?

I straightened up and left the store room moments later, Looking back and around I didn't see anyone I knew so I walked toward the kitchen as I reached the door I saw Candy my obsessed Ex coming toward me. She smiled broadly and touched my shoulder.

"Mike baby I miss you,why don't me and you go upstairs and catch up on what we've missed"

For a second I considered.

"Now why would I want to upstairs with you candy?" Candy looked hurt.

"Haven't u missed us Mike, don't tell me you've moved on?"

I really didn't have time for this"Mike I still love you" Candy moved her hand slowly down my arm

"MIKE"!!!!!

I turned around when I heard my name being shouted. Breaking contact with candy I turned around and saw Lizz crying rather hysterically and her boyfriend Luke arguing full on with Texas. I rushed over,anger taking over me.

Lizz Pov

"Luke why are you here" I snarled.

"Just checking up on you baby," Luke replied he patted my bum cheekily.

"Don't do that Luke" I sayed through gritted teeth.

He scowled and grabbed a few drinks. Why was he here. I didn't need his moody ass checking up on me. 

Luke came back over to me.

"So which one of these douches have u been sleeping with ayy"? Appalled and upset I slapped him hard across his face.

"How dare you," I cried. I didn't want to cry, didn't want to show him defeat but within an instance tears streamed down my face. 

In a shot luke grabbed my hair and yanked it, I screamed out and looked around to see if anyone had seen, everyone oblivious Luke punched me hard in my stomach. 

I yelped. "No, bitch how dare you slap me," he whispered.  

This is the second time Luke has became violent towards me. I remember Two weeks back..

--two weeks back flashback--

I sat crossed leg on the floor eating chinese when Luke stormed in from work.

"Whore why are these dishes not done" he shouted.

Appalled I stopped eating and approached him.

"What are you on about Luke, I've been school all day working to get the grades I need to better our lives so don't you dare call me a whore you pathetic loser"

Luke face went red and he shoved me into our kitchen table and slapped me twice round about my head.

"Get off Luke gett off," I struggled from his grip and he finally let me free.

"Don't you ever speak to me like that again Lizz," he snarled and walked into the bedroom as if nothing had happened.

.(Bak to present party..)  

He let go of me and I thought about how I love this guy with all my heart but yet he was becoming a monster.

"Hey everyone could someone tell me who my girlfriend Lizz is sleeping with," he shouted to get the whole kitchens attention I tried to keep my cool but this guy was embarassing me.

Seconds later Tex came in the kitchen and realised I was upset and Luke was off on one.

"Luke why are you shouting?"

"Texas your a skag just like my girlfriend so stay out of this yeh," Luke replied.

"How dare you, Luke you better leave before I say something I'll regret."

Texas face was scowled so much that even I was scared of her at this point.

"I ain't going anywhere Texas, you going to make me leave? I'd like to see you try."

Then all I heard was Texas and Luke shouting insults at eachother whilst the rest of the party was oblivious to the drama escalating in Texas kitchen. 

No way this was way out of hand. Luke was ruining the party. I turned left helplessley and spotted Mike. 

I shouted his name and he hurried over. Through tears I told Mike to stop him an how Luke was going mad.

Mike grabbed Luke by the scruff and had him up against the fridge in seconds.

"Lukey boy you got 10 seconds to apologise to these ladies or I'll kick your face in?"

By now the kitchen was silent, everyone intrigued in the drama. Luke struggled but Mike held him with great strength. Luke had no choice but to give in. 

"GET OFF ME," luke shouted. Mike smirked whilst holding Luke still by the scruff.

"Alright Ladies im sorry jheeze, but someone best get this jerk off me." Luke yelled 

"Jerk yeh Luke, I'll show you Jerk." I noticed Mike's fist clenching, a clear bloodbath about to break out if Mike ever striked.

"NOOOO," Texas jumped between them.

"Please Mike, no more drama let him go," Texas begged.

Mike loosened his grip pushing Luke a few steps back, Luke straightened up glaring darkly at Mike, I raced out the kitchen, I couldn't face Luke or this drama that he just created. He was beginning to ruin my life.
