Chapter 4: Protect Over Fears

(Ray's POV)

I walked around, with Bow by my side while holding her paw. I started to hum a random tune that was stuck in my head. I couldn't think what the song was. I heard Bow humming the same tune. I looked at her and smiled. "What? I couldn't resist! Your singing is too catchy not to sing along to." Bow said cutely. "But I was humming." I said. Bow started to walk backwards while in front of me. "Well, humming is a kind of singing..." Bow said as she tuned her head to the side while still walking backwards. "Well, true." I said as I looked up. I saw someone nearby. Whoever it was, he was behind Bow. I stopped, then Bow stopped. "Ray... What's wrong?" Bow asked. "Bow, get behind me. Please." I said, I was slightly scared, but I knew I had to protect her, so knowing that over-powered the fears that I have. Bow got behind me. "What's wrong...?" She asked. Then whoever was behind her got closer. Bow looked over my shoulder and saw whoever was behind her. "That guy keeps following me...! I don't even know who he is, but he somehow knows who I am..! And he creeps me out..." Bow whispered in fear, trying to be quiet. "Got it... Just stay behind me..." I whispered back to her. I got out two daggers, just in case. "Well well well... I know you're here... Bow..." The strange guy said. Bow was right... But I didn't let that make me scared of this guy.

(Bow's POV)

I continued to hide behind Ray. I didn't want to look... "How in the world do you know her name?! She doesn't know who you are!" Ray asked. He sounded... Mad... But I guess he's just protecting me. "Why should I tell...? She wouldn't remember a single thing..." The creepy guy said. "SHUT UP! I KNOW she doesn't remember her past! Don't even TRY to bother bringing that up all because you know her name!" Ray yelled out at him. I heard the creepy guy laugh. "Wow... You know NOTHING! I know a lot more than you think..." The creepy guy replied. "Let's get out of here..." Ray whispered to me. "But how...? He as a power that can stop someone from teleporting." I whispered back to Ray. "Can he stop us from hovering...?" Ray asked. "I'll try..." I whispered back while making Ray and myself hover upwards. I looked at that creepy guy. His eyes were pure white... I quickly teleported me, and Ray somewhere safe. I made us land on the ground.

(Ray's POV)

Once Bow made us land, I saw how scared she looked. I hugged her to comfort her. "Don't worry... I'll always protect you... You're safe with me, I promise." I gently said once I hugged her. "Thank you... Thank you so much... And ya don't have to be this protective over me..." Bow said once we looked at each other. "Bow... I'd rather protect you with all of my life! Because I love you that much... You mean more than anything to me." I said. I looked down a bit. "You're all I have left... I'm only still alive because of you..." I added, while looking at her again. Bow looked worried due to that last part of what I said. "Well, please come to me whenever you feel like that again. I'll always be there for you no matter what." Bow said. "That's exactly what I do. Right when I see you, all of my love for you over-powers the thoughts that get me down." I said. Bow smiled. "I'm glad to know that. Honestly, I have no idea what I would of done without you..." Bow said. "Me either." I calmly said as I hugged her again.

(I'm not sure how to feel about this chapter... Oh well, it's better than nothing!)
