(Ray's POV)

I walked slowly into the school. I just switched schools... I'm really shy, and I always get picked on because of my tail being white, and my hair is black. So it doesn't match. Suddenly, I felt someone crash into me. I fell, and I put my paw on my head from the crash. "Oh...! I'm so sorry about that...!" I heard someone say. I looked up a bit, and saw who ran into me. I was too shy to say anything. "Do ya need any help?" She asked as she held out her paw towards me. I grabbed on to her paw, and she helped me up. "T-thanks..." I said shyly. "No problem! I'm Bow by the way." Bow said as she followed me around the school. I tried to smile, but still I was too shy to. I started to hide my tail so she wouldn't see. "I-I'm Ray..." I said quietly. "Ray...? That's a really cool name! I think my name is weird. It's boyish to me." Bow said. I realized that she has an accent. "Thanks again...! A-and you have a p-pretty cool name too...!" I said trying to be less shy. So far she's really nice. "Thank you! And... Why are ya hiding your tail?" She asked. I showed my tail, hoping that she doesn't make fun of me. "Oh... All because your tail doesn't match? But why are ya hiding it?" She asked. "E-everyone make fun of me for it..." I said as I hid my tail again. "We all have something about our looks that makes us different, and makes us stand out from everyone. For me, it's the inside of my ears, my paw pads, and the inside of my mouth being blue." Bow said as she pointed at her ears, her paw pads, and she stuck out her tongue a bit. Even her eyes match. Then the bell rang. "Oh! That's the late bell! We better run!" Bow said as she started running. She teleported away. I started running too. There's no one else around. I was looking for the class I had to go to. Eventually I found it and I knocked on the door. I continued to hide my tail so no one knows. Hopefully Bow will be a true friend...

     (Ray's POV)

It's the second year of high school for me. I still get bullied because of my tail, but not as much as it used to be. But I still don't have any friends... I remember Bow, my childhood best friend. She remained a true friend, but I have no way to contact her... "This lonely... Is killing me... And I don't see... What I... Can't quite reach..." I sang out quietly. I learned how to sing a bit. "Ray...? Is that really you...?!" I heard someone asked. I recognized her voice... A British accent, with a relaxing tone... That's Bow's voice! I turned around and saw Bow. "H-hey... Bow...! I-it's been a while..." I said surprised to see her... So... Beautiful... Her neon blue eyes... Her black hair... Everything about her... She's so cute...! I couldn't stop looking at her... "Uhh... Ray...? You alright...?" Bow asked. I looked away. "I-I'm fine..." I said, trying to hide that I was blushing. "Alrighty then...?" Bow said confused.

     (Bow's POV)

Ray put on his hood and walked away. I tried to run after him. "Bow, wait up!" I heard Kani yell from behind me. Kani is my best friend along with Ray, and a few other friends. I stopped and stared at the direction Ray went. Is he really that shy? Kani caught up to me. "What happened? Did I miss something?" Kani asked. "Ray seems to be different... He seems to be... More shy than he used to be..." I said as I continued to stare at the direction he headed to. "He's more shy...? Oh! Maybe... He likes you! If you know what I mean..." Kani said teasing me while pushing me in a joking way. "Stop it...! He's just a friend!" I said as I covered my face with my paws. "I will admit it... Ray is attractive. But you're literally the perfect girl for him!" Kani said as she continued to tease me. I'll admit it too... Ray is really cute... But if I tell Kani that I actually like him... She might end up telling him that I like him... "Well, I'm just gonna see where my classes are... It's better to find where they are so I won't get lost here." I said as I took out my class schedule. I started to walk around while looking at the doors and remembering the ones I needed to remember. "Any minute you might... Flood my head, and stop time!" I sang out loud. At the same time, I heard Ray singing that same lyric. He's really good at singing! He saw me and he shyly smiled. I walked up to him. "Hi... Bow...!" Ray said as he nervously backed up. "Really Ray... Are ya sure you're alright? Ya seem more... Shy..." I said. I'm getting worried about him. He sighed. "S-sorry... It's mostly..." Ray said, but he suddenly got quiet. I got a little closer to him. "I'm worried about you. You're one of my best friends, and I do care about you." I said. "Don't worry about me... there's no point to..." Ray said as he walked away. That just made me more worried about him... I hope Ray's alright... I might more than like him... Am I in love with him...? I can't tell. I've never experienced this feeling before.

(Ray's POV)

Why is Bow worried about me? How can she even stand dealing with me? I'm not myself and I can't tell her... She wouldn't understand... Ever since I started high school, I've been getting these thoughts in my head, and all the things that get me down... Just stuck. I'm falling in love with Bow... I'm afraid she doesn't feel the same... I don't have the confidence to tell her the truth... She'll probably end up with someone else... I know that she won't feel the same. She's a tomboy... She's probably independent, and not interested in romance. I sat down on the ground and just started to think about Bow...

(Ray starts to sing this song)
