HAYDEN'S POV
After I asked Kasey the question, she gave me one of her "Are you serious?" looks. I thought it was a very valuable question. If my best friend was doing something, anything with a boy, she had to spill the beans about him to me.
"Hayden, please tell me you're kidding. You know there is nothing going on between me and Devyn Hill or in that case, any Devyn. You know you'd be the very first one to know everything that was going on between me and a boy, you know everything about my love life. And besides, you already know who I like." Kasey says, adding a little smile at the end.
"Oh, I know exactly who you have a crush on," I begin. ",because you never shut up about him! You never shut up about Kameron Wells, the captain of the wrestling team, #47 on the varsity football team, with his dark brown spiked and bright blue eyes, how cute his butt looks in his track pants or the way you can see his defined abs through his wrestling singlet." I said in the most mocking voice ever, hoping to sound even a little bit like Kasey when she has her little obsession episodes over Kameron. I had to stop there because I couldn't help but laugh my ass off because I could've went on and on about it.
"Shut up Hayden!" Kasey says and smirks just a little because she knows I'm right- she has said all of those things and more.
"I don't think you should be talking Hayden." "Oh, and why's that?" I ask Kasey. "Because I could say the same things about Caspar Parker." She answers with a sly smile.
I toss my phone at her and tell her to be quiet. "Ow! What was that for?" Kasey whines. "Leave Caspar out of this. Leave out Caspar and his dark brown with a blonde streak toussled hair and milky brown eyes and how cute his ass looks in his white soccer uniform and his almost perfect teeth, all of them are straight but then there's the one off to the side that's crooked or when his cheeks turn a bright red whenever he gets nervous or embarrassed, especially when he answers a question wrong in english or how clumsy he is, accidentally running into people, his 5"10 frame engulfs anyone into a hug and how he always helps out people whenever he can with his gentle heart or how he always stands up for what he believes in even if it isn't the "cool" opinion." I start to trial off about Caspar.
"Yo, earth to lover girl, Hayden?" Kasey says practically leaning over me, snapping her fingers in front of my face, getting me out of my day dream. "What?" I respond. "Dinners ready."
