HAYDEN'S POV

Kasey's mom pops through the door with a huge smile on her face.

"Hey, girls!" She says.

"Mom, what do you want?" Kasey snaps a little annoyed her mom intruded.

"Kasey, stop being so rude. What's up Mrs. Daniels?" I say turning my attention away from Kasey and onto her unusually extremely happy mother.

Her mom began to speak when Kasey became very fidgety and visibly nervous. I shoot her a very questionable look, it saying, 'What's wrong?' and she just shrugs it off.

"Do you girls need any help?" Mrs. Daniels asks grabbing my hair and working the dye into it.

"No, mom. We're good."

"Are you sure?" She asks looking at both of us. "Yea, we got it." I tell her. "Oh, alright." She says and leaves the bathroom.

"What was that all about?" I ask after she leaves the room. "I have no idea." Kasey answers me. "Oh, and Kasey?" "Yea?" "Why were you so nervous when your mom came in?" I ask her. "Um...." She says trailing off. "Looks it's time to do my hair!" Kasey shouts, obviously avoiding the question.

After I smoothed all the dye into Kasey's hair, we walk back to her room, waiting for the half hour to be over so we can wash out the dye.

"What do you honestly think your mom wanted? Because there's no way in hell, she just wanted to help dye our hair." I ask Kasey, curiously. "Well-" Kasey starts but as soon as she tries to finish her sentence, her mom comes opening her door.

"What now?" Kasey asks her mother, rolling her eyes a little.

"Um..." Slight pause. She looks around and immediately smiles. "I just can't hold it in any longer, I need to ask." She closes the door and sits on the bed, happy as a 6 year old on Christmas morning.

"Soooo, you gonna tell us?" "Oh, right!" Her mom says and laughs. "Okay, so Kasey, I was at your guys class conference and we were waiting for your teacher and we all started gossiping and this mother said out loud, "Is Kasey Daniels mother or father here?" I quickly introduced myself and I was wondering what you did." Mrs. Daniels stops quickly and gives Kasey a little stare and we both started chuckling because we were the two trouble maker best friends. We even gained a little nickname for ourselves, "Here comes Trouble 1 and Trouble 2." Don't ask 'Whos' who' because we don't even know. After we stop giggling, she resumes her story. "This mother introduces herself and she starts going on about how happy you've made her son. I asked her to go on. She could tell I was really confused so she elaborated. "Kasey makes my son smile all the time, he talks about the first time he laid eyes on her and the first time they talked and she makes him happy." She said. I was still really confused." "I am too! Can you please tell me what's going on?" Kasey interrupts. Kasey's mom smiles and looks at her daughter. "I didn't know you were dating Devyn!"

"WHAT!?!?!" Kasey screams, spitting out her Mountain Dew. I start laughing and say, "I didn't know that either." Kasey slaps my leg, "Shut up Hayden!" "Owie." I whine a little.

Mrs. Daniels sits there in complete confusion. "But I don't get it. Devyn's mom said that you two were dating." "Devyn must've told her wrong because we are NOT dating." Kasey says. "But what about him looking into your eyes?" Kasey's mom asks a little sad. "I asked him for a pencil and he kept looking at me the whole time he was getting one." "Then what about the first time you two talked?" She asked a little frantic. "I asked if I could see the notes we took in class the day before because I was absent." Kasey answers. "His mom said you two went out on an ice cream date." Kasey's mom asked once more, hoping this one was right. "It was a class field trip and we all went out for ice cream." Kasey answers her moms hopefully last question by emphasizing the 'all'. "Oh, okay then." Her mom says a little disappointed and leaves the room. Kasey and I look at each other and are about to talk about what the hell just happened when my phone alarm went off signaling us to wash out the dye in our hair.

We stand just outside the shower and turn it on. The water is cold at first and then it slowly begins to warm up. We dip our toes in to check the water temperature and when we decide it's right, we both step in the shower, with our clothes still on. It's a little hectic having us two trying to wash the dye out in a tub that isn't made for two but after about 20 minutes we eventually got it all out.

We dried our hair back in Kasey's room and before we knew it, our hairs were dried and both of us now had different colored hair. Kasey now had bright red hair like Ariana Grande once did and I now had a purpley, red color like Jade Thirlwall from Little Mix and we both LOVED how it looked. We posed in front of her mirror taking a bunch of selfies and posting them on Instagram and Twitter, captioning them; "Trouble 1 & Trouble 2 officially have new do's xx" Not too long after we posted and tweeted the pictures, Kasey got a notification from Insta saying "Dev1234 Liked your photo" She unlocked her phone and we found that Devyn was not only the first one to like the photos but the first to comment on them. "You 2 look beautiful! Red suits you both" I couldn't help but "Awwww" out loud and Kasey gave me this look for doing so. Even if Kasey didn't like Devyn, he was still the nicest.
