Him (Colby Brock)

Chapter 20

"Elton did you 'hit on me' while I was sleeping?" 

"Fine yes I did." 

"Why?" 

"Do you not look in mirrors?"

"Actually I don't"

"That's weird."

"I know." I said while laughing. I looked over and Colby was still upset.

"Colby there is really nothing you can do about this."

"I could kill him."

"No you can't that would be to much paperwork."

"You're right. Elton you're alive for a few more days and Ella come sleep with me. Wink wink."

"Did you just say wink wink."

"Yes."

"Wow. Well I'm going to go to sleep in the bed. Not whatever wink wink means."

I went upstairs and fell asleep. When I woke up I changed clothes and wrote a note to Colby that I was going running and not to worry. I knew he would still be mad that I'm going alone, but at least I wrote a note. I walked downstairs grabbed a water and went running. I ran for about an hour. Once I was starting to get tired I ran home. When I got home Colby ran into my arms. 

"Where were you?"

"Running I left a note."

"No you didn't."

"Yes I did. I left it by your phone." 

"Nothing was there."

I went upstairs and checked. It was true it wasn't there.

"Oh well that's weird. Sorry."

"I'm just glad your back."

"Wow a little clingy aren't we."

"You realize you were just in the hospital for a few weeks."

"Yea, but-" I stopped talking

"See so it's okay that i'm being clingy."

I laughed and hugged Colby. "I love you." "I love you too." I noticed Elton in the kitchen. He didn't look to happy. I don't know why though. I mean I know Colby almost killed him yesterday, but damn. I went into the kitchen to get a water. Of course my clumsy self dropped it. I bent over and picked it up. When I stood back over I looked at Colby and if looks could kill Elton would be dead. I looked at Elton and he was staring at my ass. Wow.

"Earth to Elton."

"Oh uh what?"

"My eyes are up here."

"Yea uh sorry."

"Whatever. I'm gonna shower."

I went upstairs and took a shower. I changed into a hoodie and shorts. Then I went back downstairs because that's where everybody was. I sat down next to Colby. He was on his phone and I got a glimpse of his phone before he locked it. He was texting someone. I know it wasn't his mom because he was talking about meeting up later.

I went back upstairs and cried myself to sleep. I woke up at 3 am. Nobody was awake. Colby wasn't here. I knew he was out with some girl. I went looking everywhere in the house for him because even though I knew where he was I wanted to make sure he wasn't here somewhere here. He was no where, but I must of been loud because Corey came downstairs. 

"What are you doing?"

"Nothing."

"Ella your about to cry and you're looking around for something."
