Sesshomaru and Rin | Unexplainable

Chapter. 2

Rin's POV

«Oh, look Lord Sesshomaru! Miroku and Inuyasha have returned! Now you can talk to him.» I saw Inuyasha and the munk Miroku walking towards the house that belonged to Kagome and Inuyasha. Their four year old, and oldest child came running outside, it was a sweet little girl called Mayuna. She had shimmering white hair, just like her father. But she was only a human, like her mother. Behind her, came Kagome with their second-oldest child. A silly, cute boy, called Kasaki. He had just turned two a few days ago. He really was adorable! He looked very similar to Inuyasha as baby, including the little dog ears. Only that the little boy had black hair, instead of white. But he was part demon.

I could already hear Inuyasha yelling at Kagome for carrying their son in her arms. Because she, was actually pregnant, with their third child. And Inuyasha didn't like that Kagome carried around heavy things...or children...it's supposed to be bad for the unborn baby. I don't know...

«Inuyasha! Miroku! You're back!» Kagome's kind voice said. She was smiling her lovely as ever smile, while walking towards them.

«Kagome! How many times have I told you that you shouldn't carry any heavy things!?» Inuyasha replied annoyed, while picking up his little daughter from the ground.

«Inuyasha, I think a two-year old child really doesn't weigh that much. Sango always carried around our children while being pregnant, and they turned out just fine.» Miroku said. He had his eyes closed. As a symbol for being wise and calm. Inuyasha then snorted at him out of pride, and went inside the house. Kagome sighed, but had a little smirk planted in the corner of her mouth. Cause it may didn't seem like it, but Inuyasha was just concerned about their unborn child. I guess he actually is a big softy underneath all that pride and stubborness.

I looked for Lord Sesshomaru, but there was no trace of him.

«Where'd he go Master Jaken?» I asked my green little demon-friend. A-Un was laying on the ground underneath a tree, sleeping.

«He couldn't handle any more of this hugging and reunion-stuff, so he went for a walk. But don't worry little Rin. He'll come back soon enough.....Hello? RIN?! Were you even listening to me?!! Come back here at once, young lady!!» I heard Master Jaken shout after me, but it didn't really interest me much. I wanted to talk to Lord Sesshomaru. I hadn't seen him in over a month, I'm sure he had some things to tell me..

«Lord Sesshomaru!! Are you here?» No answer. I had walked into the forest on the mountain behind our village. Now, I couldn't find the one person I wanted to find.
I sat down next to the river which also flowed down through the village. I threw some stones into it out of pure boredom. Then, I suddenly was deep in my thoughts.

What am I to Lord Sesshomaru? Am I someone he feels he must protect? Someone he feels responsible for? What will the future look like? I don't want to live this life forever. I mean...always walking around, thinking of him. What he is doing at the moment.

Don't get me wrong! I love all the people in the village. Kagome, Sango, Inuyasha, Miroku, little Shippo, even if he doesn't come to the village as often because he is out training to become a great fox-demon. And we can't forget Lady Kaede. She was the one I was living with in the start, and she really grew on me. They more or less all raised me. I will always love them. Sango and Miroku already have lovely family growing.
The same with Kagome and Inuyasha. They are expecting their third child already.
It's not like I love Lord Sesshomaru! I was only a child when I met him. But I miss the time we spent together anyways.

«Rin? What are you doing here?» I heard two women coming my way. And it wasn't hard to guess who they were. Kagome and Sango. They sat down beside me, looking at me like I had all the answers in the world.

«Kagome, Sango. What are you doing here?» I asked. I looked up at them for a few seconds, but turned my head quickly down again towards the water.

«Huh! I needed to get away from that leacherous munk! He really thought it was OKAY to talk about other women in a romantic way while he is married to another woman...ME! So I left him with the children all alone, to remind him that he has a FAMILY, with me!!» I could hear Sango was angry at Miroku.

«Poor Miroku. All alone with three children. Not that Inuyasha is gonna have it much better, with this third child on it's way. Huh, still, being pregnant is actually pretty great!» Kagome replied. She let out a little giggle. I'm sure she was thinking of Inuyasha and Miroku. With children on each arm, and some crawling around on the ground. Both Miroku and Inuyasha have been great fathers so far. Inuyasha is sometimes out training with Mayuna, and even Miroku and Sango's oldest children. He wants them to become strong women, so that they can defend themselfes against bad men, demons or other creatures.

Miroku and Sango have three children 'til now. The oldest ones, are twins, called Kaya and Kaori. And then they have younger son, called Botan. Miroku is such a softy with the girls! He sings them to sleep, braids their hair. They are six years old now, and their son is four.

«Hey, Kagome, Sango? Do you think Lord Sesshomaru still cares for me as much as he did when he left me here?» It suddenly rambled out of me. I didn't mean to say it out loud, but I guess it's to late now.

«What are you saying Rin? Of course he cares for you! There's no doubt! When you were a little child, he was always there to protect you. Wasn't he?» Sango said with a pitch of too much confidence in her voice. Like it was out of question that he did not care about me! But I guess she is right. I mean...as Sango said, he was always there when I needed him. Why would it be any different now?
