Sesshomaru and Rin | Unexplainable

Chapter. 7

I stared into her eyes for a while. Considering telling her. But would that make it better? I don't think so. She would only say I should just go with him anyways, and that's just the way he is. He tries to push people away. But I know he wouldn't exactly push me away. He either wants me to stay with him, or he doesn't.

«Oh, it's nothing. You don't have to pack for me, I'll do it myself. Thank you.» I eventually said. I smiled a fake smile at her, and I know I lied to her. But I just couldn't have anyone around me now. I just wanted to be alone.

After some time i finally got up. I slid on a red and white kimono, and went outside.
«Here, child.» an old and kind man from the village said, giving me some bread.
I kindly smiled at him, and accepted the piece of bread. «Thank you, kind man.»

Huh, is this really going to be my life? Everyday like this? Everyday the same?

I looked down to the ground. A flower. A white little flower. It was growing out of the dirt, no grass.
«What is it my child? Is there something bothering you?» the old man asked. He looked up at me, worried.

I suddenly had tears in my eyes. I hadn't noticed them. No, this wasn't going to be my life. I didn't want it. I didn't choose it. I was meant to be with Lord Sesshomaru, all along. He saved me, more than once. When I was a child he protected me, was there for me. He was was my hero, and still is my hero. And Jaken, A-Un. They're like siblings to me. I cannot leave them now. They cannot leave me. I won't allow it. Humans think demons and mere mortals don't belong in the same world, but still, we do. So why can't we be friends? If people think I am stupid to follow my Lord, then so be it. I guess, I am stupid. He is out there, and I will come with him. If he wants it or not. If he refuses, he will have to kill me. Because I won't give up. I won't give up on him. Lord Sesshomaru, here I come.

I ran back to my little hut by the lake. Grabbed a pair of sandals, before grunning off to Kagome and Inuyasha's house. Inuyasha was outside, watching Mayuna and Kasaki play. I stopped for a second. It was rare to see Inuyasha like this, so peaceful I mean. His eyebrows were lowered, and he had a light smile on his face. He looked at his children with so much love in his eyes, it was almost unreal. It warmed my heart.

I started walking towards him.
«Hi, Inuyasha.» I said calmly, and waved at him slowly. «Do you know where Lord Sesshomaru is?» I asked.
«Oh, hey there, Rin.» His voice was so at ease, so...calm and low. «He is up at the meadow, by the bone-eaters well.» He continued. He didn't look at me whilst talking. He only had eyes for young Mayuna and little Kasaki. His smile not leaving his face.
A yellow butterfly came flattering. «Papa, what's that?» Mayuna asked in a baby-voice. Inuyasha sighed a happy sigh. «It's a butterfly, Mayuna. A very beautiful creature.» He told her. They both looked up at the insect.
«Bufferty...» She said, and stretched her arn out towards the butterfly. She probably didn't understand the word quite. Inuyasha snorted quietly, not an agressiva snort. Just a...loving, admiring snort. «Yes, a bufferty.» He repeated.
«Is Kagome inside?» I asked.
«Yes.» he simply replied, not taking his eyes of the bufferty and Mayuna. Kasaki just dug in the dirt. I think he's gonna be a silly kid. Just like his father.

I went inside Inuyasha and Kagome's home. Inside, I was met by the beautiful and pregnant Kagome. «Hi, Kagome.» I said with a low voice. Though it was a pitch of sadness darkened by it. «I've...I've come to say, to say goodbye.» I stuttered. My eyebrows lowered. I felt tears in my eyes again. Kagome quickly walked towards me, and hugged me tightly.
«It's okay, Rin. It won't be forever. You'll come back. And who knows? Maybe you'll have your own family then?»  She siad into my ear. But, the last sentence made me jump. My face froze. I hope...I hope she didn't insinuate what I think she was incintuating...

«Rin? Are you okay?» Kagome asked.
All I could bring out of me were some wierd noises.
«Oh yeah, everything's fine. Hehehe.»
(Kagomes POV)
Maybe I shouldn't have brought the idea of children up in Rins head. Especially since that would mean Sesshomaru probably would be the fater. Huh, it's the hormones from this pregnancy. Although, I believe Rin has some kind of affection for the older brother.
(Rins POV)
«Kagome? Why are being so wierd and giggly?» She didn't answer me. I sighed, and smiled at her, before leaving them, and walking towards Sango and Mirokus home.

Once arrived, I saw Kilala watching over Sango and Mirokus oldest twins. The sun shined through the trees, bearing pink flowers. It was again a peaceful and loving sight. Kilala rrised her head.
«Hey, Kilala. Are you watching over Kaya and Kaori? Are you being a good kitten?» I asked. Kilala ran towards me, and jumped up in my arms.
Kaya and Kaori did the same.
«Aunty Rin.» Kaya said, clinging onto my kimono. As I looked up from the two children on the ground. I saw Miroku at the entrace to their home.

«Have you come to say your goodbyes, Rin?» He aksed seriously. I set Kilala down, and walked away from Kaya and Kaori, to Miroku.
I looked down. It was hard to look at them. They knew why I was here. They knew I had chosen Lord Sesshomaru over them. Miroku placed his finger at my chin, and lifted up my head.
«You'll always be with us, Rin. Never forget that. Our arms are open. And so they will always be.» Miroku said. I breathed mire heavily. It was hard keeping the tears from flowing. I hugged him, one last time.
«Thank you, Miroku. Please take good care of Sango. I know she loves you very deeply. And take also care of your now soon four children.» I answered him, whilst still hugging him. As I stepped back, I could see Sango. She had flowers in her hand. She'd been probably out picking them. Her son, Botan, was in some kind of cloth tied behind her on her back.

I slowly walked towards her.
As I was a few feet away from her, I brought mysekf to speak. «Goodbye, Sango.» and then hugged her, so tightly.
«I promise, I'll come back to meet Kagomes and your child.» I promise. No, swore. I was coming back. Sometime.
I started walking away. Every step was painful.
«If you see Shippo, let him know I'll be coming back to see his great strength!» I shouted. I could see everyone gathered there. Lady Kaede, Miroku, Sango, Kagome, Inuyasha, Kilala, Kaya, Kaori, Botan, Mayuna, Kasaki.

Goodbye my friends. You have a special place in my heart, and always will have. I will see you again, I promised. I swore. You are my family.

I walked further. With every step I took, I could feel the pain in my chest ease. I knew where my path led to. To my Lord. Lord Sesshomaru. Here I come.
