Sesshomaru and Rin | Unexplainable

Chapter. 1

Rin's POV

«Rin! Help me out for a moment would'ya?» I heard Kaede's voice say.

«Yes! Of course!» I got up from the ground, and ran over to her.

«Oh no child, ye have made ye whole kimono dirty from kneeling on the ground all day.» she pointed out while trying to remove some of the dirt. Yes, I had been kneeling on the ground all day. So my purple and white kimono had a huge stain on the knee-area. But I didn't really care, I had several more at my little hut by the lake.
I'd been living there for three years now. And honestly? It was lonely. Me, all by myself.

«Oh, it's okay. I'll just change when we're done here.» I answered. And smiled bright.
«What did you need help with Lady Kaede?»

«It's okay child. Go change now.  Your Lord Sesshomaru will be coming soon to visit». She suddenly said.

«Really? Is he visiting today?!» I smiled. I got up from the ground again and started running towards my little home by the lake.

I changed my kimono into an orange and white kimono. Ironically. It's the same colour as the kimono I always wore while following Lord Sesshomaru. I miss those times. Lord Sesshomaru never showed it, but deep down he had such a kind and loving heart. He always came for me whenever I needed him. If you ignore those times where he just left Jaken, A-Un and me all by ourselves. But I know he would always come back! How's Jaken and A-Un doing? They went with Lord Sesshomaru, and chose to stay with him. Not that Master Jaken had much of a choice...
I still remember their funny conversation;

«My lord, why don't I stay here with Rin for a few days? Naraku is dead, and I don't see me as much help to you at the timebeing.» he was holding tight on to his staff of two heads. I think he was very anxious about how Lord Sesshomaru would react to his suggestion.

«Jaken, get it together. We're leaving.» was all he answered.
And Jaken replied with a simple; «Yes, my lord.» with a sad face, and then they left. I stood there in the meadow, watching them disappear. In silence. Lord Sesshomaru didn't turn around even once to look back, but that didn't bother me. I stood there, with a smile on my face. Waiting for his return.

I brushed my long, wavy black hair, while i sung the song of Mt. Hakurei;

Pure has become impure,
Impure has now become pure.
Good has become evil,
Evil has now become good.
To live is to die,
To die is to live.

I still remember children at my age back then, singing the song over and over again. Now it's stuck in my head. That was the time Naraku and the band of seven still were alive. I will never forget that. And I will never forget how my Lord Sesshomaru rescued me over and over again.

«My lord! We've arrived! We're at the village where young Rin lives.» I know that voice!! Master Jaken! They'd finally come!

I rushed outside to see my one and only Lord Sesshomaru and Master Jaken standing there like kings. The sun was shining bright into my Lords white-silver hair. He looked so beautiful and elegant.
Quickly, I ran over to them, lifted up Master Jaken and hugged him tightly, whilst laughing.

«Rin, you silly girl! Let go of me at once!» he commanded, but I just ignored it. I could already see his annoyed look, but that made it just funnier. After a tight hug, i saw my loyal friends A-Un. So i ran over to them, and hugged them as well tightly.
Then there was only one person left. Lord Sesshomaru. I didn't hug him, or even touch him. I never have. Not on purpose at least.

«Hello my lord, how have you been?» I asked politely, while having the biggest smile on my face as possible.

«Good, Rin. Where is that half-breed Inuyasha?» he answered back. He looked away immidiatly after asking that. I kept gazing at him. He was everything to me. My, Lord Sesshomaru.

I don't know why I always was and am so happy around him. And as the years went by, I don't know how I feel about him anymore. As a friend? A companion?

«He is out with Miroku. But tell me Lord Sesshomaru, what have you been doing out there in the world?» I looked up at him. I had of course grown a lot since he left me here in the village, but he was still about a head larger than me.

«Why do you ask that Rin? Can't Lord Sesshomaru have some privacy in his life?» Master Jaken suddenly said. He looked at me with a reproachful face, like I had asked something completely unacceptable.

«Well, he doesn't have any real privacy as long as you and A-Un are following him around.» I replied with a winning attitude. His reproachful look turned into a more offended and mad look. But I just found it funny. It is so easy to get Master Jaken upset. I looked back up to my Lord, but he wasn't standing in front of me anymore. I saw him walking towards the village. What was on his mind, that made him so distant from me?

Sesshomaru's POV

I have to find that filthy half-breed Inuyasha. I have to tell him that the fight isn't over just yet. That Naraku never truly died, and is still alive. He is most likely poisoning everything around him. Making it suffer, and die.
It is a shame, that I need help from a mere half-demon, but Naraku has something that is very dear to Inuyasha. And that thing, can destroy Naraku for good. He will tell me how to kill it. If he wants to or not. Then, this will be over for good!

Then, I have to ask Rin to make a decision. That human girl, is somehow connected to me. And I need to know if she'll stay in this village with these mere mortals. Or come with me.
