~Ashley's P. O. V. ~

Break fast was weird in a way. Gabe was here but not here. I ignored it and went on talking about why my best friend is coming to stay with us for a while. Gabe nodded here and there. I think he was listening to some of the this I said.

I take his plate and mine to be washed.

After I washed the plated and placed them on their places in the cubbord I'm off to get dressed for my shopping day. I decide on a plain white mini dress with black high heels. I grab a necklace Gabe bought me, from my dresser. Applying light makeup before exiting the bedroom.

As I pass Gabes study he has his nose in a reading book. The books title was bearly see able because of the old age of the book. "Bye babe." I simply say as I walk past. "Enjoy the shopping honey." I hear him say as I exit the apartment.

I get into the car and drive to the local mall. I decide on window shopping first then get to the business. I made a shopping list.

~Time skip~

Time passed and I find myself out in the parking lot wondering if I should get a new tattoo added to my sleeve.

What would I add? Guns and roses? Just the roses? Or just the guns? I grab my phone from my handbag and scroll through my tattoo folder.

The tattoo I really want is a quote. The quote reads: Everything has beauty but not Everyone can see it. I want this in white or red on my rib cage.
Let's do it. I jump into the car and drive to the tattoo parlor called Cue's. I tell them what I want and where I want it. I follow a young female into the back and take a seat on the chair. "You can take off you dress and I'll bring you something to cover yourself with." she states. I do as commanded placing my dress over my thighs. Covering myself waiting patiently for the young woman to return. Like she said she brings me a towel to cover myself before asking me questions about the font of the tattoo and how big.

I give her the font. It's a neat cursive font and the size is a medium sized size.
She prints the text and places it just beneath my bra on my ribs. "Did you decide on a colour?" the woman asks. "white. Just white." I answer. She takes the needle thing in the hand and starts the tattoo.

The tattoo is beautiful. I love these simple words. They mean so much to me. Hopefully Gabe wouldn't mind. I'm sure he is not going to mind.
The young woman cleans and covers the tattoo. I make my way to the front to pay. The payment went through and it wasn't so expensive. One of the tattoos on my arm cost more than these simple yet complex words.

The drive home is quiet and a light sound of the radio playing in the background. The song playing is Black Veil Bride Days are Numbered. My fingers drum to the song on the steering wheel.

Driving into the garage is weird. There is a strange feeling hanging in the air. My stomach is suddenly tied in knots.

I park my car in its usual spot. Grabbing the bags from the back I make my way to the apartment. Placing the bags on the counter top. Something smells very different. "Gabe are you home?" I ask nurvously down the hall.
No answer. "Gabe?" I call walking into his study. There is a hole in the floor with a safe inside the hole. I kneel beside it to look what is in it. The safe is unlocked so it is easy to open. There is a few needles, an old medical textbook and a copy of Eager to please by Julie Parsons.

The floor boards crack behind me. I am shocked but can't show it. My body is becoming numb the more I think of it. My eye lids are heavy. The last thing I can see is a dark huge scary figure kneeling by the safe in the floor boards.
