Virgil sat lounging on his couch in his room flipping threw the
channels when there came a knock on the door. He sighed, maybe if he
just ignored them they’d go away. “Hey kiddo, you in there?” Nope
strike that. There was no way he was going to be able to ignore this
particular side.

“Yea Pat?” “You forgot dinner kiddo so I thought i’d bring you a
plate. I made my spaghetti.” The darker side sighed again as he got up
and made his way to the door and opened it. “Sorry about that. I
must've lost track of time.”

“Kiddo we talked about this. You gotta eat. Maybe you can set an
alarm to help remind you.” Virgil rubbed the back of his neck as he
took the plate from the fatherly figure. “Yea, I’ll have to try that?”
He knew he worried the kind-hearted side and he felt bad about it. Out
of the other three main sides he was one of the only ones to make him
feel wanted on a daily basis. Before his thoughts could stray any more
Patton spoke again “Well I gotta get going. Roman said he need my help
with something.” at the mention of his name Virgil could feel his
heart flutter ever so slightly.

Why did this always happen when he heard that stupid name. With the interaction over Patton waved and turned ti head back down the hallway as Virgil closed the door behind him. “I need to go clear my head.” He mumbled as he placed the plate on the desk near the door. He counted to five before peeking his head out the door making sure the coast was clear.

Satisfied, Virgil slipped out the door closing and locking it behind
him and headed down the opposite end of the hall Morality had gone.
When he had gone a few steps down the eerily dark hall Anxiety’s body
began to give off a faint purplish glow that seemed to spark ever so
slightly with a silvery light.

He began to feel the familiar tingle at the base of his spine as his
body began to shift and morph into a large black wolf with hints of
deep purple streaking threw-out his pelt. His makeup stayed on but
took a bit of a lighter purple hue in his fur under his chocolate
colored orbs. He couldn’t help but smile to himself.

This was the one of his favorite parts of the day. The part of the
day where he could shed his human form and let loose and have a run in
the forest that surrounded them. While in this form nothing seemed as
bad as it had before. This was just about the only thing from his past
in that horrid place he didn’t mind so much. He shivered at the
passing thought as he darted out the back door and threw the yard.

I know it's short but trust me there is more to be posted later tonight. Just seeing how many people will actually enjoy this before I throw my full heart out there.
ALSO...... The title of this book is a work in progress so if anybody has any suggestions they'd be greatly apreciated. Again I want to thank maximumluv2004 for all her help and allowing me to use her version of the Dark Side, which you should get a glimpse of here soon. If you have not yet read her work I suggest you run off and do so xp
