"it's a boy", Dr.Mason says
I begin to cry. It's a boy I am having a boy that I wanted. I looked at Bruno and I see a smile form upon his face.
"a boy", He says, and he kisses my head.
"Can we hear the heartbeat again, so I can get it on camera?", Bruno asks
I feel tears forming in my eyes. My gosh I was having a boy, I looked at the ghostly figure of our son, and just fell in love with him.
Dr.Mason take the other sensor and puts it against my belly after a few moments the heartbeat was heard but this time it sounded different. Weird.
"what is that?", I asked
"I don't know", he said then he takes the other sensor, puts it on my belly, and looked at the screen closely. "huh"
"is everything alright?", Bruno asked
"I see another heart beat", he said and gave us an incredulous look
"it has two hearts?", I asked with wide eye
"no, but you're having two babies", he said
my eyes widened, and my jaw dropped. I wasn't having a baby.... I was having twins. I look at Bruno and his face matched mine.
"and the second one it... a girl", He says
I felt the tears stream down my face and a smile form.
"HOLY SHIT WE ARE HAVING TWINS", Bruno yells
I jumped at his outburst and laughed.
"Yep, you are having twins. I will be back with some pictures for you", Dr.Mason promises
He leaves the room while closing the door behind him. I was embraced by Bruno and he kissed all over my face while rubbing my belly.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you", He laughs
I laugh.
"I love you so much. Holy shit we are having twins", he says
"Are you still recording?" I ask
He looks at his phone and laughs.
"Yeah, I am", he chuckles
The door opens and Dr.Mason walks in with the pictures and with a little packet. He hands Bruno the pictures and he sits down at his desk in front of me.
"Okay, what I need to talk to you guys about is that you need to immediately start on prenatal vitamins since you haven't been taking them because you recently found out you're pregnant", He explains
I nodded.
"Also, since this is you're first time having twins you need to know about what can happen. "He says
Fuck, I look over at Bruno who was sitting down and looking at the baby pictures.
"this will be a high risk pregnancy, The risk of many potential pregnancy complications includes preterm delivery, cesarean birth, pre-eclampsia", He explains
"So, she won't go into labor at nine months basically?", Bruno ask
"Well, she won't be full term like Leilani. These babies will come out probably between 37-38 week. So they will be premature only by two or three weeks and the babies will be around 6 pounds give or take a pound"
"Speaking of delivery. Will I be able to deliver vaginally?", I ask
"Yes, you can but if there are complications you'll e going into an emergency c-section"
"What else is there to know about the babies?", Bruno ask
"Well, you are going to gain weight faster", He says
That makes me nervous because of the wedding and I want to have my original figure back.
"Oh when is the due date?", I ask
He looks at my file and searches for the date.
"September 12th", he says
I nodded.
"I think that is it. You have been eating right and staying healthy. All I need for you to do is come back here in another 4 weeks for a regular check up, don't be stressed out, and be careful when you are out because you're belly will be larger", He says
"Okay", I smiled
"Alright, well I will see in a few weeks", He says
"Bye", I say
"See yah later Bella and Bruno", he says before leaving
I looked at Bruno and smiled. He stands up and kisses me.
"Twins", He whisper
"Thank you", I sniffed
