Chapter 21: A new Home

After learning we were having twins, we decided to start looking for a house right away, and we did find a house that suited us just right. We were just going to see it to establish who is getting what room. Presley was coming along before her and her sisters goes to Hawaii for a gig.

"Bella, What are the details about the house?", Presley asks when we turn onto the street

I take out the paper and begin to read it to her.

"Measuring nearly 10,000 square feet, the home has 5 bedrooms, 6 baths, a wine room with a second kitchen, and a home theater. A subterranean garage has been partially converted into a 2,000-square-foot recording studio with two live rooms and a control center. The open floor plan brings a spacious, light feel to the home, which is grounded in nature with giant wood-beam ceilings and an atrium with bamboo that climbs the height of the home. Most rooms open onto a patio or deck with a backdrop of palm trees and a vast landscape below.", I read

"Wow, Five bedrooms? The house had what 7?", Presley sighed

Bruno just sighs. This wasn't the best choice and I was pissed that he picked this house and now I see he is regretting picking the house. I wanted the 8-bedroom home because it is more space for not only us but family and we both knew once the twins are older they are going to want their own room.

"Yep, I know", I sighed

"Don't say it like that", Bruno snapped

"you wanted this house I said get the 9 bedroom but no you wanted a fucking 5 bedroom house forgetting we have twins on the way", I say annoyed

"We can still get that house because we didn't put a down payment on this one", He says as he pulls into the driveway

"Then call Rebecca and tell her that and let's go to the house that we actually like", I say

He gets out the car and slams it shut.

"What's wrong with yall?", Presley ask

"he signed off on the wrong house that's why we are here. He didn't know because he doesn't read contract and I wasn't there because I had to pick up Leilani so he had one job and fucked it up. No wonder I am his assistant", I say and rolled my eyes

"What is the other house like?"

I take out that paper and hand her the picture of the house.

"Neoclasical Italian Villa on the most sought-after street in Holmby Hills. With high ceilings throughout, this prestigious property boasts a formal living room, library, and dining room, six bedrooms and nine baths, including an expansive first floor master suite opening onto the gardens. The second story includes a private office, two large guest suites with views of the hills to Hollywood and a balcony overlooking the large pool and guest house. ** Additional family room in the lower level which could also be a theater.", I read and looked at her

"This place is beautiful", She says

I nodded. "We were gonna stay in the master suite and have the kids sleep in the two room that are near us on the first floor and the guest room would be upstairs."

"Here he comes"

Bruno enters the car and puts his seatbelt on.

"Where are we going?", I ask

"to the new house I put a down payment on that house so it is ours", He says

I smiled.

"Really?", I asked
