Previously:Wait Rin Okumura?!
As in Yukio Okumura?!
Are they brothers?!Hm.. I wonder who is older...
Probably Yukio...
Now:
Mr. Colloconnely bad assigned groups for team building exorcises. I got put in a group with Sugaro, and two other people who I didn't know.
The group I was assigned to gathered into a circle. I hung tight to Sugaro.
"Psst." I even tried getting Sugaro's attention.
I'm pretty sure he heard me, but he acted as if he didn't.
I tried again, slightly louder. "Pssssttt..."
His facade did not break. I turned my head slightly to face Sugaro. "Hey Emo."
(To all of you out there, this in no way shape or form is supposed o be offensive to you. And if you are offended I'm sorry)
Heh, that go his attention really fast.
His head turned to face my way. His eyes were widened as well.
"What did you call me?"
"That doesn't matter right now!"
"No, what did you call me." His voice was stern and I was almost... scared... of him.
"You we're ignoring me... i had to get your attention."
"And why would you need to get my attention. Why not theirs" he gestured at the two girls that had also been in our group.
"Well... because I know you... A-anyways. Who's that one popular kid... t-the one you were giving the stink eye to?"
Mr. Colloconnely told the class to quiet down as he explained the group activity we would be doing. It had something to do with, paper, and towers. I couldn't tell, mostly because I wasn't paying attention.
Sugaro has lowered his voice to a whisper, so that only I could hear him.
"That so called 'popular' guy, is Rin. He's in the cram class with us. He's kinda like.. Uhm... it's hard to explain. You'll have to see for yourself once we get to cram classes today."
I shrugged off Sugaro's comment. I mean, what's the worst that could happen? It's not like he's some demon from hell. (Ooohhhh bboooyyy well do I have a problem for you)
~~~
Apparently the team building exercise we were doing, was about building towers out of paper with your group mates.
According to Mr. Colleconnly it build up the communication skills of the class, and well as the problem solving and cooperation skills.
Of course most of what Mr. Colleconnly said, just went in one ear and out of the other. His voice was Just. So. Boring.
BBBRRRIIIINNNNGGG. The bell rang, signifying that class had ended.
I packed up my belongings and headed to my 7th period.
I expected the same thing to happen again. Ye teacher would introduce themselves and act all nice and stuff.
And I was right.
God this school really needs to make class actually fun for a change. Actually now that I think about it, it's not just this school. It's all schools.
The ideal learning environment is when kids, teens, adults, or even elders actually want to learn. So they become more intrigued when learning about a topic they like. And In the ideal environment, there is not time constraint. Time limits cause stress, or discomfort. Also being forced to be in a room, which isn't very inspiring towards the path of education, that is full of other kids becomes very uncomfortable for many people.
So. In other words, the ideal learning environment is the exact opposite of school. (Btw, this is just food for thought but, most teachers will answer the question of 'why can't we watch a movie instead of having a sub' with 'the principles want to keep our home life and school life separate' and here comes the part where I come in. Then why do they give us homework.)
