Chapter 25

Recap:

Shieme's eyes sparkled with delight.

Two words fell out of her mouth that made me less than excited.

"We're roommates!"

Continuing:

Great. Just great. I just had to have the super hyper person as my roommate.

Trying to be polite a put on a fake smile. "Great... I cant wait..."

Her eyes only sparkled more.

"HERE! Follow me to our dorm!" She took my hand and practically ran with me down the hall. Well she did most of the running, I just stumbled behind her.

Once we were mostly down the hallway she slowed down to a halt. "This is it!! We're here!!" Shieme exclaimed. She had stopped in front of a dorm, that has already been decorated with pictures and colors and such.

Great. She's one of those people.

"Well don't just stand there! Come on in!"

She grabbed my wrist gently and hugged me through the door that was opened by her. Out of the many thoughts swimming through my head, one was constant. How long will it take for me to warm up to her?

As soon as my head entered the room, a new aroma hit me like a wall. The air. It didn't seem... how should I put it.... refiltered. It seemed fresh, like the woods but not in an overwhelming way. There was also in hint of things that smelled sweet, like roses and lilies.

Oh. That's why. Plants. Everywhere. What a joy. Shieme was still tugging on my wrist. She pulled me a little further to my side of the room.

Huh. I'm glad and surprised she left my side of the room untouched. That's more space than she's given me since we met in the hallway.

"Oh I really hope you don't mind all the plants everywhere."

This one through, I genuinely smiled. "It's better than you being a stoner"

God, something about this girl. Idk something tells me that she's the one who gets in trouble a lot. Not like trouble with teachers but like, trouble with the world. Maybe she's too happy for the world, and the world thinks it needs to dim her light.

Something about this girl... makes me think that she's always the one getting saved. That there's always a hero.

I wonder who that hero is...

Author here! I'm sorry if you don't like my point of view on Shieme. I just don't like the fact that she's always the damsel in distress. If any of you out there watch fairy tail, she's kind of like Lucy. Always needing to get saved. And I just hate it so much. ( also btw if you've never watched fairy tail, it's amazing! I seriously suggest you watch it, and if you don't have Netflix don't worry, it's also on Hulu but if you don't have either of those, you can find it on a website call kissanime.com it has like all the anime's ever. Anyways this site has all the episodes of fairytail. Except for the newer ones) that's enough for my rant today but, I hope you all enjoyed!
