When I wake up, Warner is here. Working out with the training equipment, leg pressing. So I don't get up, instead I stay tucked in with James and Alia under our blanket.
Again, James has had no nightmares and slept the whole night through. His improvement makes me happy, because he must be happy here. But its so easy for him to find happiness and make it contagious towards everyone else. Its a quality I really envy him for.
Unlike Warner and I, he's gained no influence from our father.
I hate to consider that Warner and I share the same father, the thought disgusts me.
So I look over at Alia, her face immediately calms down my negative emotions.
I imitate the soft rhythm of her breathing. She looks so peaceful, she must be dreaming about something beautiful.
I french braided her hair again last night, so there's a clear view of her chiseled features.
Gently, I lightly brush my fingers along her arm, up to her neck, and rub her earlobe between my thumb and forefinger.
I can't remember why I'd think anything negative anymore.
Memories of her body from last night flood my mind.
I want her close.
When I was a soldier, I knew a few girls. We had fun every now and then, but none of it was special, it was just for fun.
When I met Juliette, I wanted our time to be special. She deserved that and she wanted it for so long.
And now, everything's different.
Alia's the most innocent person I've ever met, I'd wait forever.
I pinch myself.
She isn't even yours, Adam. Quit fantasizing.
Maybe after our plan succeeds, things could be different.
After yesterday, I know she wants things to be different. James was right, why else would she draw all those pictures of me?

After breakfast, we train. Alia's drawing, Castle and I are helping each other train, James is weightlifting with Kenji, and everyone else is doing their own form of training.
"Is there a limit to how much you can carry with your mind?" I question Castle.
"800 pounds" he answers.
"Have you tried anything higher than that?" I question.
"I've tried, it isn't as effective. I can move a bottle of water up the atmosphere if I wanted to. But I couldn't do that with like an elephant" Castle explains.
"Huh. That's interesting" I say. "What about that big-ass rack of weights".
I point to the station of weights against the wall by the equipment.
"Are you kiddig? That's gotta be over a thousand pounds, Mr.Kent" Castle sighs.
"I wanna see you do it" I say,
"Well I appreciate you're concern, Mr.Kent. I will try" he nods.
"Oh, sweet. Just be careful of Alia, she's right there" I say.
I step out of his way as he focuses on the racks.
He stands still for a minute, his face is red by then. I notice the slightest movement in the middle of the rack rise, but it quickly falls and Castle let's out a heavy sigh as he falls on his knees.
"You know, 800 isn't bad after all. You're good" I nod and lend him a hand to help him up.
"Sorry to disappoint you" he says.
"You can make it up to me by lifting Kenji up with you're mind" I smile.
He laughs and looks at Kenji, who immediately rises to the ceiling.
"Yo, what the hell!?!" Kenji shouts.
"Watch out!!" Juliette suddenly screams.
The rack of weights leans down, all at once, the weights tumble down.
I'm about to yell at Castle to stop it, but his power is holding Kenji 50 feet in the air.
My eyes widen when I see Alia underneath the weights, but her attention is on Juliette's scream.
Something builds inside me, something I've felt before.
Its the feeling I felt when I thought James was dead after the destruction of Omega Point.
I close my eyes, all at once everyone's screams disappear.
I can't hear anything.
Part of me knows what just happened, but I'm afraid to open my eyes to be disappointed.
"Mr.Kent" Castle gasps.
Alia.
I open my eyes. My eyes follow the  light blue path escaping my chest and shadowing over Alia.
The path looks like florescent light that moves like clouds, and it shields Alia from the weights completely.
The rack or the weights didn't even fall, the shield coming out of me held it together.
Alia has tears flooding down her cheeks as she stares wide at me.
Ian, Winston, and Brendon rush over to the rack and lift it back up.
Juliette follows and lifts the entire thing up.
Then everyone rushes to Alia.
And they all look at me.
I switch turns off in me, and the path fades, and disappears.
"What the..." Kenji gasps.
"Mr.Kent" Castle repeats. "Mr.Kent, you've been the first to project".
