Five days until the plan initiates. I don't think this team could be more ready. I mean with Adam's awesome super shield, and Juliette's sick super strength, Warner's creepy villainous thingie, and, well I mean come on, me, we're pretty damn unstoppable.
I eat dinner with J, Ian, Winston, Brendon, and Lily tonight. James is laughing and training with Castle on the mats, its makes me happy when James has found things that make him laugh. It means he's happy when he laughs.
And Adam and Ali are goofing off in a corner. Adam's just thrown some vegetables in her face and she's yelling about him being a jerk while devouring him in more vegetables as they both laugh.
"Okay are they dating yet? They're freaking adorable together and its making me feel freaking lonely and shit" I say.
"How the hell did Alia get Adam to go from being the Hulk to a pretty nice guy in less than two weeks?" Ian questions.
"The bigger question is how the hell did Adam get Alia to be....human?" Winston laughs.
"Wait, they're dating?" Lily asks.
"I'm not sure but they're pretty good for each other, don't you think?" I say.
"They're dating" Brendon confirms.
"WHAT!?!?" we all say.
"Told me himself yesterday, like the asshole he is" Brendon sighs.
Everyone turns to Juliette.
"Are you okay with this? You two were like...magnets when you came to Omega Point" Lily says.
"Well I'm...a little shocked, I didn't expect him to move on" Juliette says. "He was so...attached".
"I don't think he expected to move on either" I say.
"I think we're all just lucky the have each other, or else Adam would be causing all kinds of shit around here" Ian says.
"Alia does seem a lot....different" Lily admits.
"The other day she was like...humming some kind of sweet melody when she was measuring Juliette. Remember that, J? Maybe she's happier" I say. "She never sings. She never talks in general".
"Well she's talking now" Ian says.
" ....I hope they make it solid this time. Neither one of them can afford another loss" I say.
I look over my shoulder again. Alia lifts her water bottle to her lips, and Adam squishes the end with his hand.
I laugh a little as the water spills onto her shirt and she spits out water in his face and poor's the rest of the bottle on his head.
"Yep. Perfect for each other" Ian nods.
"They always do this" Lily rolls her eyes. "I think its just an excuse for them to shower at the same time".
"...oh" Juliette nods.
"Don't they sleep together?" Winston questions.
"Wait what?" Juliette says.
"With the excuse of James in between them" Brendon says.
"Does he still sleep without a shirt on?"
"No, probably for her. So she doesn't get uncomfortable" Lily says.
"I knew she liked him....she's always blushing when he's around, more than usual" Juliette says. "And she had drawn those pictures of him....I just figured".
" ....what about you and Warner? Don't act like we haven't noticed" I smirk.
"Oh yeah. Mr.Mystery. You guys doing the deed?" Ian laughs.
"Shut up" she smiles and rolls her eyes.
"Where's he been all day anyways?" I say.
"Visiting his mother" she sighs and shrugs.
"Mhmm, and you've been missing him all day. No need to blush, princess" I say.
"Shut up, Kenji" Juliette laughs. " ...he's been gone awhile....maybe I should follow him".
Juliette leaves in ten minutes.
I follow her, turning my ability on so she doesn't notice.
Juliette finds Warner huddled in a corner.
Is he...crying?
She rushes over to him in comfort, beginning to cry with him.
She whispers to him that its okay as he continues to cry in her arms.
I find out that his mother is dead.
And Juliette and Warner obviously have something strong going on between the two of them.
What happened to everyone?
