AUTHORS NOTE: This is a sequel/epilogue to the original story by Tess (aka  @seasidestyles) we are NOT copying her book or taking credit for writing the original copy. We are very big fans of her book and just wanted to have fun with an ending that goes beyond chapter 43, Enjoy!

It's move in day of my second year at UW, I'm already familiar with busy days like these. Parents frantically rushing to get their kids all moved in, tear jerking goodbyes, and hugs that seem to last forever.

I haven't actually seen my parents since this time last year, they were so excited for me to make new friends and actually have a college experience since my last year of high school at Castle Hill wasn't too great. I've facetimed them a few times but other than that I haven't really been in contact with them at all. I think if I was, they would be way more worried about me than they needed to be. My first year was fine actually, I got good grades and made friends with some of the girls in my housing building a few floors up from me.

After a long day of unpacking I find myself drifting off, leaning on a moving box. I decide to get ready for bed by slipping into my pajamas and brushing my teeth, removing the minimal amount of makeup I had on. I check my phone for a few minutes before setting my alarm for tomorrow. My eyes seem to shut themselves and after only a few seconds, I drift off to sleep.

"Jane! You're here! Come make daisy chains with us!", Wesley says with a big grin appearing on his rosy cheeks. I start to walk up to Wesley and Em when suddenly a strange ringing fills my ears.

"C'mon Jane, let's go!", is the last thing I hear Wesley say before I'm pulled away from my dream and open my eyes to my lonely dorm room. The ringing sound still fills my ears as I pick up my phone to see it is 10 am, I must have slept through my alarm. A familiar number is calling me, it's from Castle Hill.

I answer the call still groggy from my dream. "H-Hello?", I say at almost whisper tone. "Jane, this is Officer Whitmore. I just received a call about your parents. You need to come to Castle Hill as soon as possible."

Confused and distraught, I reply with a simple "Okay" and hang up. What word was received of my parents? Wouldn't they have let me know if something bad happened? All these thoughts rush through my head as I enter the steaming hot water of my shower and start to wash my hair, still confused.

I shove an apple in my bag, and hurry out my dorm. Rushing through campus I suddenly get stopped by my friend Jacob "Hey Jane, where you trying to get to so quickly?", he says with a toothy smile. "I need to go home for something with my parents, I should be back by dinner though" I smile softly at him. He nods and puts his skateboard down, starting to ride away. I don't really like telling anyone here my personal business, especially someone like Jacob who's a total stoner skater dude. Don't get me wrong he's super nice, but in all honesty I don't trust anyone with my personal business from this school.

Before I know it I'm at my car and I hop in quickly and turn the key to hear a familiar pop song off the top 40 starts to play as I get onto the road. My hands are sweaty, but I try to drain my mind of my nervous thoughts and just drive. It's about a 4 hour drive between Castle Hill and my college but driving with this much stress makes it seem like an eternity.

I finally get off the freeway and start to see familiar trees and buildings I would drive by daily. The one thing that never changed about Castle Hill since I left is the feeling of being at home once I'm here. So many memories both good and bad have made their way back into my head as I drive on the cobblestone roads.

As I'm making my way to Whitmores office, I pass the diner and can't help but remember the sympathetic smiles my parents gave me that day of Nate's funeral. Next thing I know CHHS is on my right, floods of emotions fill my brain as I remember my last day on campus: Graduation.
