JANE'S POV

"I'll be here if you need me!" Harry shouts from the driveway as he unloads the car from our trip.

"Ok!" I shout back smiling and walking towards the main roads where Westley and Em tend to stay occupied.

I start walking in the direction of the cemetery where they usually watch the sunset. I can't help but feel strange after the trip. I was expecting to get a lot more out of it and see my parents how I pictured it to go. But instead, they basically said they wanted nothing to do with me.

I knew I had to tell Westley and Em at some point because for one they would ask me the minute they saw me anyways, and second I could not keep this from them forever. I attempt to mask my feelings of abandonment of the trip and take in the fresh air around me. The sunset is so beautiful tonight. The sky looked like freshly spun cotton candy and it reminded me of the sunsets Harry and I saw on the drive home.

I was happy to see that my parents were happy, but I can't help but feel a pang of sorrow just thinking about leaving them behind.

My thoughts are interrupted when I hear someone shouting from the distance ahead of me. I look up and see Westley and Em walking towards me from the usual tree they sit under.

"Jane!" I see Em shout as they draw nearer to me.

A smile spreads across my face as I wave to them. I give each of them a hug and say, "Hey you guys! We missed you so much!"

"How was your trip?" Em asks me.

"It was... decent. Got lost a few times but we managed!" I tell them, trying to shadow my disappointment with some humor.

"What do you mean decent? What did your parents say?" She asks with a slight but of concern in her voice.

"Well it's kind of a long story..." I reply.

As I'm about to begin telling them the trauma our trip consisted of, I notice Westley looks anxious and distraught. He keeps looking around and not paying attention to the conversation.

I decided to ask him what was wrong.

"Westley is everything okay? You seem...stressed." I question

My words interrupt the trance he seemed to be in and looks up at me concerned.

"I just- I need to tell you guys something" He starts, "Where's Harry?"

"He's back at the house. Why?" I question with a bit more concern.

"It's just... I don't know. Something weird happened to me. I feel like I need to tell you both together." he replies. He looks suspicious of something.

"We can go there now if you'd like. Is something wrong?" I hope it's not something too crazy. I don't know how much more I can handle right now.

"No, not wrong. Just... off? I guess I'd say." he says with furrowed brows.

"Alright. Well let's head there now," Em tells us, putting her arm around Westley in an attempt to comfort him. He seems to fade back into his trance as we begin walking back towards Candace Manor.

We eventually make it back to our street but Harry is no longer outside. We walk to the clearing and low and behold Harry is sitting peacefully on the swing.

The rustling of the leaves caused him to turn his head in our direction, he gave us a small smile as we approached him.

"Hey guys! How was the sunset?" he asks as he stands up from the swing to come greet us.
