First of all, here is the song it's based off of. You should listen to it but like if you don't want to it's fine it's whatever it's pretty good pffffff.

Anyways, little backstory. I originally fell in love with this song and band back in September-October. I believe they are an indie rock band? Don't know but they're good. I found out about them when I first heard this song in Life Is Strange: Before the Storm. Basically the prequel that came out 2017 to Life Is Strange that came out in 2015 I believe. Really good game and graphics as well as amazing soundtracks. I'm uploading this chapter at like almost 4am because i'm sick and dying so technically yesterday I finished playing the prequel (I pre-ordered it before it came out and I bought the deluxe version so yay extras.) Anyways, I for sure know on PS4 the original Life Is Strange complete series is available for free. Here are some trailers if you want to check them out, it's my favorite game and I highly recommend playing them it literally changed my life eheh.

Anyways, if you watch the lyric video and have read the whole series and look back at the chapter titles, you'll definitely see it. And for those of you confused, let me clear things up.

Bold is a flashback.

Italics is Elliot's point of view.

This is just emphasis to set the mood.

Also, I feel really bad for making Serenity's life completely awful. Also this book I am going to try and use only one swearword considering there is only one I believe in the song. "Ass" doesn't count but I try to avoid it. I really wanted to dedicate specifically chapter 5 to how she exactly broke her knee and her thoughts on it. I should probably clear up some other things if some of you don't quite get or understand some parts of the book

o, Leela wasn't Ren's best friend. She was like.. that obsessed, annoying friend who is overly optimistic.

Chapter 3 (Interred in the Ice) the beginning is a flashback to when Ren developed an eating disorder in 6th grade. Then she takes that fall down the stairs, wakes up in the hospital and forgets she ever had an eating disorder.

No, Eli doesn't have any mental illnesses. He's normal just hates almost everyone.

Leela killed herself by getting hit by a train.

Yes, Ren tried to overdose but didn't do it and instead ran out into traffic.

So Eli went to school in New York, moved to Washington where Ren had moved to and so like yeah. Leela always wanted to visit Seattle so she was buried there. Ren moved from Oregon to Washington.

Yes, Erin is a popular girl and those two dudes who jumped Ren are her jock brothers.

Anyways, I hope things were clarified.
