Jane's POV . . .

By the time me and Torch arrived at the field, the coach Lee announced our first match, and appearently, we were against
' The Barrracuda' soccer team. During practice, Gazel kept avoiding me when possible. Everytime he passed to me, it was always off-course, and the coach would always have his eyes locked on him.
" What's wrong with you two? The last time we practiced, you were perfect!", Byron exclaimed, while walking towards me. I gave him a simple fake smile, before going back to my position.
' Sorry Byron, but I not really sure what's wrong. Is it because I overheard Gazel's conversation with Torch?', thoughts kept popping in my head, I tried to ignore me, but they never left my mind. As practice went on, I was unable to focus! Everytime I had the ball, I was easily tackled.
" Jane!", I turned around, and saw Leo standing beside coach Lee, with the Fire Dragon's jersey on. I was glad to see a familiar face, and ran towards him happily.
" It's good to see you, but what brings you here?", I asked curiously, and looked at him, and coach Lee.
" He will be our new goal-keeper, and he might as well help you focus on your training", coach said, patting Leo's shoulder, and giving me a sly smile.
" Well let's get started!", I said eagerly, grabbing Leo's hand, and dragging him to one of the goalposts.
" Do go easy on me! Give it all you have got!", he shouted, clapping his hands several times, and getting into his stance. All the pressure on me was quickly lifted, as I dribbled the ball down the field. ' I totally forgot! Once I step on the field, I have to only think about playing soccer, nothing more, nothing less', I thought, and kicked the ball into the air.
" Lightning Strike Version two!", I shouted, while jumping in the air, and kicking the ball sideways.
I gently landed back on the floor, and watched as the ball swiftly flew across the field, with stunning lightning bolts surrounding it, but I left astonished once I saw Leo's eyes change colour, and a purple aura surrounding him.
" Living Hell! ", he shouted raising his right hand in front of the ball, and stopping it easily.
"Tha-", I felt my throat getting dry, and my mouth dangled on in shock, but quickly changed into a smile.
" That was incredible!", I finally managed to shout, with an excited smile on my face.
" Your shot is good, but it will take a little more than that if you want to score against the Barracuda's", Leo said, throwing the ball towards me, with an encouraging smile.
" Yeah! I will get better!", I agreed cheerfully, and started dribbeling the ball again.

Third Person POV . . .

What the young teen boy did not know, was that someone was glaring at the him from the other side of the field, without even blinking.
" Oi! Gazel! Don't you think you are going over the line with your jealousy? Seriously, they are just friends!", Torch told his friend, while patting his back.
" Just shut up", the silver-haired boy, hissed coldly at his friend, and pushed him away, before going back to his practice. Byron on the other hand, was watching all of this from the side-lines of the field, along with coach Lee, and Choi Chang Cho.
" This can be helpful, and bad at the same time", the blonde boy said, playing with a small strand of his long hair.
" That's true, but it's better than having Gazel and Jane not focusing on the field", Choi Chang Cho protested, as he watched Jane practice her shooting, and dribbling.
" Choi Chang has a point Byron, it better than losing two  players", the coach agreed, while patting the blondes shoulder. A small sigh escaped Byron's lips, and closed his eyes, and thought, ' If those two won't fix their conflict, it will be something I am not looking forward to'. Coach Lee totally understood his player's opinion, but this was a relationship conflict they were talking about, not a teamwork problem. He pulled out his phone, and stopped at a specific number.
" It's time we called someone who knows Gazel more than we do", he told himself, and clicked on the phone number.
" Hello? Is this Lina Schiller?", I asked once someone picked up the phone.
" Lina is not here right now sir, but I could send her your request", a polite girlish voice answered the phone.
" That will be fine, just inform her that Gazel Whithingale is having a rough time, and I could use some advice of how to get rid of his cold mood", he replied through the phone, and waited for the polite girl to answer.
" Sure thing Sir! I will in-from her rightaway!", the girl replied cheerfully, before she hung up . Coach Lee looked at his two players, and nodded his head in reassurance.
" Things will get better, as long as we try", he said, before motioning them to go back to practice.
