Stopping by a store, on my way home from work,
I decided to grab myself a few snacks.
As the cashier turned, her dark straight blonde hair spun,
in a spiral as it felled resting silently, on her red vest and shoulders."Hello, are you ready for me to ring you up?"
Yes, I agreed, I have these three things,
handing her three bags of mixed nuts. She picked up one from the counter,
"That's weird she uttered, the scanner seems to broken,"
"Let me turn it off and back on."As she unplugged the register, I heard another woman voice demanding,
my cashier head raised, eyes curiously scanning,
Sharing in the peculiarity, our attention now heighten. The woman voice yelled again from the aisle, "Put it back!" "You're not going to steal it!"
"What are you talking about I'm buying this!" A man voice now joining the dialogue.
My clerk now lost in this drama, Incognizant of her duties, as the man and the accuser appear out of sound, onto the witnessing stage. The man yelled, "What are talking about, I'm going to buy this! "
"No, you're not!" The accuser retorted, "You came in here to steal!"
"Look, I got money!" As the man pulls out cash,
the accuser looks at the man with unapologetic indifference. The young man throws down the milk along with the cake.
"I can't go anywhere without this bull shit!"
in his frustration, he knocks over a display of Little Debbies,
falling were smiling faces to the floor, as the man leaves out the door frustrated. My cashier asks the girl, "Are you alright?"
Before she could answer, the door opened swiftly,
it was the man again, moving the cashier out of his way.
he grabs the unpaid goods, while yelling as he storms out the store with his moniker,
for this much hassle, might as well be the villain.
