(Tom is even creepier in this chapter)

After Pau comforted a nervous, annoyed Tord, he led Tord to the car they drove here in. When Tord came out, he seemed shook, and slightly enraged. And it was only instinct of Pau to question what was wrong.

Tord's only response was, 'It shouldn't have been that hard to retrieve my phone.'

Afterwards Pau only comforted him, feeling as though it would be best to ask about it once Tord was calmed down.

Pau opened the car door for Tord, earning a smile from him, "Thanks, Pau." He responded quietly.

"No problem, Tord." He shut the door and walked over to the drivers side, opening the door, and getting in himself. He reached his arm over his shoulder and felt around the side of the car frame next to his window for a few seconds, before grasping his seat belt. He trailed his hand down the seat belt and pulled it over his chest and waist, clipping the seatbelt to the seat.

Satisfied, Pau glances over to make sure Tord did the same, relieved knowing Tord did so, Pau started the car.

He turned his headlights on, and backed out of the small parking lot. He then began to think, he was thinking a lot about what'd happened.

'What happened when Tord went in to grab his phone..?' Pau kept questioning repeatedly.

Pau would have asked by now if Tord didn't look so shaken up about it.

Curious is something Pau has always been, in some cases it was good, others it was bad, and occasionally it was in between.

Pau wanted to ask, he wasn't sure what bad could come out of it, but he wasn't sure what good either. When they were about three fourths of the way back to Pat's, Pau couldn't help himself.

"So ummm... Tord... if it's okay, could you tell me what happened back there..?" Pau asked cautiously, he kept spacing out his words strangely, because he was trying to decide what would've been the best way to say it.

Tord looked over to Pau, after having looked out the foggy car window for almost the entire time.

He sighed, sure he was upset about it, but he couldn't get upset every time something like this happened, that would just prove he was weak, that he couldn't handle a little emotion. Or at least, that's how he felt about it.

He drew in a deep breath, and began to speak, "I uh- ran into someone... an old friend.. of mine.."

Pau gave Tord a questioning, quick glance, before quickly directing his gaze back to the road, "Who was it..?"

Tord looked unsure for a while, he tensed up slightly, "Don't. Please, please don't freak out," Tord began, this worried Pau, "Okay."

"It was.. um, Tom."

Pau froze up slightly, his only movements were the essential movements made to steer the car, shift, and use the pedals beneath his feet. His shoulders were tense, "Oh- Um... could- could you tell me what happened?" Pau asked, nervous that he would upset Tord.

"Yeah.." He began speaking, drawing in a steady breath, "Um, so after a minute or so of checking the table for my phone, I checked the ground, sure enough, there it was. When I turned around, Tom had said my name, and I looked up to see him. I got a bit mad about that.. for obvious reasons. He tried to explain everything to me, as if there was some sort of reasonable excuse for what he'd done," He said that last part bitterly, "When I tried to leave, he grabbed me by the shoulder and kind of lost it from there. Saying we weren't through, I was still with him. It was kinda fucked up actually."
